Check out this article. Like I said before I like Christine Micheal as a prospect and would welcome him with an enormous Who Dey. But to say Gillislee is weak is an opinion at best. |

Of course. Megatron is the best ever IMO. Was just repeating what Titus said.

Re: Mike Gillislee
gillsillee is weak and not an elite back. If u want gillisllee and i want an elite back we dont want the same thing here in cincy. Gillisllee is weak. Christine Michael is the best back coming out. He'll assure u of that at the combine. And if u think my opinions of gillisllee are from just youtube ur high. The dude is nothing great or elite. in fact there is nothing elite about him.

Re: Mike Gillislee
I am feeling like our staff will draft a very good back and we will be happy with whoever it is.They will do their homework, its a positon they cannot afford to miss on.Its probably the most critical pick they are going to make.I would love to see them get two rbs.Perhaps michaels first and then lattimore later.Or Bernard and then lattimore. That would be a super running backs draft.I feel very confident they will get us a stud.I am guessing it will be our second round pick and maybe our 4th or 5th for the second back.I would love to see it.Wish it were tomorrow. We will know alot more when the old conbine starts.I for one like to watch the combine, but alot of what the grurs say I take with a grain of salt., as they at times are trumping certain colleges for the bucks and all that.

gio Bernard
I like him and was hip to him last year but I think he's gonna be drafted way to high considering the other backs available in the draft. 1. I really don't like backs with acl tears already coming into draft. this doesn't mean the back can't be productive, it's just a matter of risk nothing more. Gio already has an ACL tear. So that's a mark against him in my eye. 2. I also think his lower body mechanics are not very good or proportioned. Gio runs using his quads, making him run on his toes, meaning he doesn't have equal hamstring to quad development. This contributes to him having nice lateral ability but not true speed. Gio is quick not fast. Speed needs power which comes from hamstring and gluteus, quick shiftiness comes from being light on the toes. This will also come up when he needs power to run over someone which Gio just doesn't have. 3. Gio has great open field vision which can be displayed on punt returns. But IMO I don't think he has great vision between the tackles. UNC had a great oline and Gio usually ran through nice big openings. He just didn't need the vision in the phone booth with those huge lanes. This all comes back to the type of runner he is, a great open field runner. 4. I also see no pass blocking from this kid. There is something to say about a back who will square up against a defensive end. He just runs past the oline in hopes of getting a pass thrown his way, which usually happens, and does a nice job of. I want a back who will do the dirty work by smashing heads picking up the blitz before he worries about getting the ball thrown his way. 5. Gio also looks like he uses too much wasted movement which IMO is due to lack of patience. I don't think Gio is the most patient runner especially when trying to run behind the oline. Ex. If the lane or hole isn't there Gio starts dancing and bounces outside. He doesn't let the play develop. But since he has nice lateral ability he can usually turn it into a gain. He doesn't have the speed to do this in the NFL. I really think the combine will show his lack of true speed. And a personal pet peeve is watching a back bounce up and down in the backfield before the ball is snapped. Gio does this and it drives me crazy. 6. Gio does look to have decent hands with the ability to run after the catch. (open field vision) I think Gio is a good runner but I want a back with no ACL injuries, more power, and better pass blocking ability. I also think cincy can get the same "value" in later rounds. I think Gio would be a great back for the Titans zone blocking |

wow, looks like espn has been doing their homework. running back rankings
1. Ed lacy 2. M Ball 3. L Bell 4. J Jamison 5. A Ellington 6. MIKE GILLISLEE 7. Gio Bernard 8. J Franklin 9. M Christine 10. S Taylor So I guessing ESPN looked at film up to this point to make these changes. Film is always superior to things like combine. but after the combine you're gonna see these change again. but I'm willing to bet some will be surprised. |

little something else to chew on:
ESPN grade scale 1-5 (5 being worst) Traits of Running Back Being Graded: A Durability B Intangibles C Competitiveness D Vision/Patience E Agile/Accel F Power G Passing Running Backs and their grades: 1. Lacy----------------3 3 2 2 2 1 3 2. Ball------------------3 2 1 2 3 2 2 3. Bell-----------------2 2 2 3 3 1 2 4. Jamison-----------4 3 1 2 2 3 2 5. Andre---------------5 2 2 4 2 4 2 6. GILLISLEE-------2* 1 1 2 2 3 3* 7. Gio Bernard------4* 1 2 2 2 4 2* 8. Franklin------------3 2 2 2 3 4 3 9. Christine-----------5 2 3 3 3 2 3 Durability is very important to determining success in the NFL according to previous drafts. I'm also very aware and fully understand a successful RB needs things like Speed Strength........ But durability seemed to trump most traits. You can be fast/strongest but if you can't stay on the field, then it doesn't matter. |

Re: Mike Gillislee
Gillisbee is not weak, that is just your opinion. This guy is a very good running back, and he will probably be a bengal unless someone else jumps out at them or falls to them.He IS ON THE RADAR, BELIEVE THAT!! OUR TEAM is looking at him with authority and Mike Brown LIKES this guy, and so does Hue Jackson. Now, if someone else pans out better during the combine and pro-days and interviews and all that, our running back could be anyone.I do know this.Jay Gruden said he wanted a speed back to compliment lawfirm. That could be several players. Its going to be all good, i do believe that.

RANDLE #1 and CHRISTINE MICHAEL RB TAM #2! My only concern with Michael is his injury history. 220lbs and will run a 4.4 at the combine!

Comparing Gillislee to Green Ellis is laughable. Gillislee is known for his quickness and acceleration, BJGE has no acceleration. The RB's that are standing out to me right now in the 2nd round are Andre Ellington and Joseph Randle. Would be very happy with either of these 2 but would also be very happy with either Barner or Gillislee in the 3rd.

I apologize, I forgot to explain the * I put * on certain individuals for a reason that I'll discuss later. Just read the numbers L - R and you'll notice they're no blanks for any back.
