Trade back from 21 to late in round 1 and pickup an extra 3rd.
1. Matt Elam ,s, 5-10/.202 Florida 2. Giovani Bernard ,rb, 5-10/205 North Carolina 2. Khaseem Greene ,lb, 6-1/236 Rutgers 3. Da' Rick Rogers ,wr, 6-2/206 Tennessee Tech 3. Khaled Holmes ,c, 6-3/305 USC 4. Leon McFadden ,cb, 5-10/193 San Diego State 5. Keith Pough ,lb, 6-2/241 Howard 6. Tyrann Mathieu ,stp, 5-9/178 LSU 6. Matt Scott ,qb, 6-2/202 Arizona or Jordan Rodgers ,qb, 6-1/212 Vanderbilt I know some aren't fans of Mathieu but not much of a risk in round 6 and could be the best kickoff and punt returner we have had in more than a decade or 2. The only position I didn't draft was DL because I think they will sign a fa backup and resign Michael Johnson. |

I can say if on draft day we picked up a starting S, OLB, C, and a WR to compete I'd be a happy man. Holmes could start over cook and Robinson on day one

I would take this draft. I'm leaning against greene more and more though.
But you pretty much filled the needs with solid players. Nice!

Mathieu would be our best return man since Tremain Mack. By the way what ever happened to Tremain Mack? He was a pro bowler return man for like four years and just vanished. I was still young when he played but he was fun to watch.

[i] don't think Elam is worthy of the 21st pick. Lots o questions about whether he'll hold up. Safer to go LBer in Rd 1 and may be still get him in the back of Rd 2
