Default Smoothies

Ok I hate hate hate hate HATE did I mention Hate?

Vegetables. So I figured hey why not do a smoothie with some fruits in the morning for my daily vegetable in take.. this way I'll be getting that nutrition while re-programming my body to eat vegetables like I should.

I've googled my arse off and just want to know if you know of any good mixtures?

Dont now if there are any good smootie receipes to add veggies too.... I just started worknig with my smootie blender myself.

but V8 splashes might be something to consider although im not sure if they have veggies in them either.

http://www.v8juice.com/faq_v8splash.aspx (they use carrot juice to give you your veggir servings)

Eat Corn / Carrots / Green beans with dinner. (eat them first)

I loved cook carrots... DeMonte's brand is amazing... I could just eat them straight from the can.

Raw carrots i find myself dipping in ranch or peanut butter lol

I dont see how corn is bad for you... it dont see how its good for you either since it doesnt get digested.

The truth about corn lies somewhere between "all bad carbs and sugar," and "great source of fiber and protein." A lot depends on what you're comparing it to. It's true that corn is quite a bit higher in starch, natural sugars, and calories than most green vegetables. On the other hand, it is higher in fiber and protein--although I still wouldn't consider it a "great" source of protein

1cup milk
1cup yogurt (any kind but I found vanilla works best flavor wise)
1 cup frozen fruit (again any kind you want)
squirt of honey (although I use agave nectar most of the time, it blends better)

Blend all together

Veggie booze is worse than Fruity booze.

You wouldn't choke on those carrots or cucumbers if you chewed them instead of just shoving them down your throat...

Dont be scared of how much spinach is in it either. All of the other fruits totally over power it.

Smoothies?!? I love me some smoothies. My apologies though bro, I don't personally have any badass recipes.

I've been on the working out/ healthy eating kick for 4 straight months now. It's like a ritual now. I don't do the smoothie thing in the morning (heck the only veggy I really eat all that often is brocoli lol) but you can buy liquid egg whites by the carton at the grocery store and they don't taste as bad as you might think.

Oh, and sweet potatoes w/cinnamon and the spray 'i can't believe its not butter' are awesome too.

1 apple
1 banana
10-12 almonds
A squirt of agave nectar
A handful or more of baby spinach
About 6-8 ice cubes
A small amount of water

Blend all that together and it is delicious. It will look like green vomit but it is amazing. That's coming from a guy who hates both fruit and veggies.

If you want to jazz it up a bit more add a teaspoon if cacao nibs.

I drink this every morning.
