now there is a WR we should try and trade for . upgrade at WR and Kick Returner , definitely ! according to the article on foxsports.com , Harvin blew up on head coach Leslie Frazier over being placed on IR this season . Harvin blew up on him in front of several team members and the team members are supposedly not happy over it . because they have alot of respect for Frazier . Frazier used to be a coach here , we should be on the phone lines and try to make a deal for someone else does . i heard about this incident earlier in the year , but its come out now , they are trying to trade him .

He can bolster that IR for next season too, when he gets injuried most likely in the 1st game.lol

Love him as a player, but he's an idiot. Read a lot of stories about him being completely out of control. Punched a coach in college.
Total beast though. |

For the Chad Johnson pick...Absolutely.
I don't think I'd give up too much more though because of his attitude, injury history and the migraine thing. Maybe he and Dontay Moch can put their heads together and stop missing time for headaches. The guy is a stud though when he is on the field and would be a big upgrade over Brandon Tate. I just don't think he's the savvy vet that we need to pair with AJ.

Trade for a headcase who is constantly having blowups directed at his coaches, emotional meltdowns, who hardly ever plays, will be a free agent after this year and will be demanding $10 million + per year?
No thanks. |

No thanks on Harvin. Sounds to me like the Vike's were just lucky to find their easy out with him.

with all that said . he'd fit right in with the Bengals . your forgetting Marvin and Mike Brown are redeemers . they take chances on players like this . is it risky and is he a head case . yes no doubt . but he is a talented WR and the best return man in the league .... absolutely !

Vontaze Burfict is the perfect example . i guarantee every single one of you were saying the same thing about him . no way he's a bum and a head case . myself i was saying , what the heck , 6th round take shot . how did that gamble turn out ? Harvin is a gamble , but its a gamble that could put us over the hump and let us finally win a playoff game or two . i myself would take the gamble .

It took us years to rid of all the head cases this team has had. I don't care how talented he is, haven't you learned by now that someone who disrupts a locker room is far more detrimental than their talents on the field?!?

We gave up nothing for Burfict. And we control his rights for several years at low cost. You want to spend a relatively high draft pick on a player in the last year of his contract who would be here one season and done. |

I am getting tired of hearing "________ just mistreated his coaches and teammates so he would be a great pickup" threads. No offense to OP but WHY would anyone want to have a disease? That crap is wildfire. Believe it.

I don't think I'd use the term beast for a guy who has never had 1000 yards in a single season.

If Minnesota would entertain a trade for Rey Maualuga in exchange for Percy Harvin, I would jump on it.

Apparently the only free agent/trade that gets the JN seal of approval is Brian Hartline.
Reggie Bush: Too expensive/misses too many games (reality? will cost no more than 4 million and has only missed 1 game in last 2 seasons) Chris Ivory: May as well just draft 2 backs (we could sign Ivory and draft a back) Ahmad Bradshaw: Too expensive/is recovering from an injured foot (won't be expensive and will not miss any time due to his foot) Greg Jennings: He won't leave GB/costs too much. (he will leave GB and we could get creative) Mike Wallace: Is a malcontent and costs too much. (Just wanted to get paid, and won't command Fitz money) Dwayne Bowe: Costs too much. (I have seen a little support for bringing him in) DHB: BUST. (Actually had nearly 1000 yards in Hue's system) Percy Harvin: Malcontent/No 1000 yard seasons. (actually had 1300+ yards rushing/receiving in 2011, and is wayyy better than what we have) I guess everyone thinks we should continue trying to fill all voids via the draft, even though the draft usually turns up 3 solid contributors max.
