(Almost) Every free agent that gets brought up in here gets universally panned.
So just out of curiosity, I'd like to see everyone name at least one free agent you have your eye on. I would honestly love to see a thread where free agency can be discussed without 100 replies saying simply "NO". Like it or not, not all holes can be filled through the draft.

It's no secret that I want Mike Wallace. Goldson, Bradshaw, Jennings are also on my list. Bradshaw on a 2 year deal would be sweet. I'd like 3 year deals or less so they are up when Greens contract is for cap purposes. |

I'm gonna go with some 2nd Tier guys that this team seems to love.
I'm not gonna list our own Free Agents, just new guys. Safety-Pat Chung CB-Greg Toler and Bradley Fletcher, yes both LB-Erin Henderson QB-Drew Stanton |

Hard to know who will be FA at this point, we can spectulate all day long, but for example MJ, Smith, Maualuga, Scott, Newman, Jones, Howard, etc. are all listed a FA, but we know some or most of those should be back in stripes. So do not really know who will be there or not, but I will still play, assuming all FA are released and no one is signed.
Outside of our FA I have my eye on: WR Dwayne Bowe - would not mind Hartline or Amendola here in other scenarios either FS - Jarius Byrd OLB - Paul Kruger or Anthony Spencer We should be able to re-sign our own and still get 2-3 of these types of guys in FA. This would make me really happy.

My list:
Dwayne Bowe- He's probably my fav FA wr. If we can get him for 8-10 mil/per, I'd be all for it. Mike Wallace- I don't like him as much as Bowe, but he's definitely a weapon. I'd also offer him between 8-10 max. Brian Hartline- If we couldn't land Bowe or Wallace at a reasonable price, I'd be cool with Hartline for 4-5 mil. Reggie Bush- I'm iffy on signing a RB. I'd rather use what little free money we have (after signing our own) on a WR. If we went with a back, I'd want Bush over Bradshaw. Chris Ivory- The only way I'd want him is if we'd still take a back high in the draft. LaRon Landry- I like Landry, but I'd only want him if we plan on using our premium draft picks on other positions. I pretty much just want to resign our own and grab a WR. Every other need can be filled via the draft.

If it were that simple, 32 teams would be going to the playoffs. Not saying I don't want an FA, but sometime the exact same team improves from one year to the next without major changes. Sometimes the wrong FA makes a team worse, even if they are talented.
Anyways, it is fun to speculate, but at the end of the day I'm going to trust the coaches.

Re: Name a free agent you would want in stripes
In order of how much I want them...
1. Jairus Byrd 2. Victor Cruz (Yes, I would give up a 1st rounder for Cruz. No dire need for the first rounder, and he's better than anyone you'll get in the first round. Immediate impact starter. Plus NYG doesn't seem to have the money to pay the man. They're short on salary cap space. Green+Cruz+Hawkins/Sanu sounds awfully nice. 3. Chris Ivory (Not a pricey choice, but I think he'll be huge at RB and if signed, will be the Bengals starter before the season is over.)

Eric Ried, S 37. Jamar Taylor, CB 53. Travis Frederick, C 84. Jamie Collins, OLB 115. Montee Ball, RB Man... FA has really made me edit the crap out of my Wishlist/Draft... and not really for the better. |

Just bc of the glaring hole at MLB I wouldn't mind Bart Scott on a one year or two year deal

Many of our better players still have a lot of growing to do. A few more could leave this FA period. Getting more experience for the first group and getting the second group back on the roster is important right now. Maybe more so than any year in the past. Stability is important. It adds to consistency. Teams that consistently do well tend to have stability at more positions. Not necessarily better players at each spot, but they don't have a large turnover each year.

Jairus Byrd, Paul Kruger, Bradshaw or Bush(if a good medical staff determines Bradshaw's injuries are behind him, I'd prefer him over Bush), and Greg Jennings.
