Super Bowl rematches...Niners/bengals maybe?

Imagine the hype a bengal/Niner Super Bowl would draw.

There is a slim chance that the Steelers may not play in the Super Bowl next year.
Seeing how the bengals have steadily improved over the last 2 years, there is a slim chance the bengals actually could.

As far as the NFC, don't see anyone unseating the Niners.

Imagine the humiliation that losing to the Niners for the third straight time would bring to cincinnati after finally making the Super Bowl.
Curious...would you want to see your bengals in the Super Bowl knowing full well that the Niners will not be denied a Super Bowl ring for the third straight year?

I don't have any kind of hate for the 49ers like some other Bengals fans do, so maybe I'm not the best person to comment on this. Nonetheless, I would find no humiliation in that scenario whatsoever. Sure, there would be some disappointment in getting that close to the franchise's first Super Bowl championship only to come up short, but there would be a wealth of satisfaction in knowing the team is finally a Super bowl contender again after what we've experienced over the last 2+ decades.

Or maybe because they're not divisional rivalries and most people with half a working brain realize that the 49er's teams that beat the Bengals in the 80's were so stacked with Hall of Famers and it was just bad timing.

There's nothing about them I like. Their QB was the backup QB of the Bengals and their ex-coach couldn't coach.

I could care less about the Bills.

If you've been paying attention I root for the Colts, but I respect 3 other teams. If you don't know by now who those 3 teams are, you've had your head up your butt during the entire season.

Sadly, it seems that the percentage of people that make this same mistake is extremely high. The same people that make this mistake also dont seem to know the difference between "lose" and "loose" It might be an indictment of our education system.
