I hear a lot of people just randomly discussing events/places/people that are usually considered 'myths' as facts, or something they believe in. I am largely curious to see what everyone might believe to be real, despite being labeled as a possible 'myth'. Feel free to share!

The medications (drugs) from our beloved health care actually do more damage than good, especially when 90% (just a made up number) are developed to just cover up symptoms rather than actually cure someone, simply because it is more profitable to hide symptoms than it is to actually cure someone.

Who said anything about this being a myth anyway, these are cold hard facts!!

I 100% think there's a cure to cancer (at least some forms), but medical experts are paid not to find it because there's more profit in the treatment.

Case-in-point: I was reading something a few years ago where they put small vibrations into someone's body, which broke up tumors and cured cancer. There was a high percentage that also so no instances of the cancer coming back. You'd think that this would have been huge news, but I can't even find much of any information on it anymore.

I never said anything against those! I actually agree with you, not all drugs but most of them are more harm than good, or can be at least.

I also believe there is a cure for aids...... There actually is. There was a story i read a year a so or go where a guy in europe that had luekemia and also had aids. He had to go have a bone marrow transplant that cured his luekemia. 6 weeks later he went in for an aids check and it was gone completely out of his system. I guess there is 1 or 2 people per million who are immune to the aids virus and he happened to get bone marrow from the person who was immune to the virus. point being, if we could find a sample of the person whos marrow is immune to the virus, we could harvest it and manufacture it to cure aids. Wouldbe worth Trillions.

But chemo does cure some cancers. In fact Prostate Cancer can be cured 90% of the time with either radio or chemo therapy.

Plus hundreds of other diseases have been cured by pharmaceuticals. Why would this rule only apply to cancer and no other diseases?

Seriously, do you even think before you write this stuff? Don't you realize how much money could be made with a cure for cancer? Especially since there is already a cure for cancer on the market and they make tons of money from it.

A dogs mouth is clean or cleaner than a humans. No it is NOT

MYTH 2)

If you shave an area of skin, the hair grows back thicker. No it does NOT.

MYTH 3)

The haunted hospital where if you make it through under a certain amount of time, the charge is free. This place does NOT exist.

I believe this to some extent. I think there is a cure or could be a cure, but there are stipulations preventing it from these drugs hitting the market. I remember local 12 doing a story on a local company here in Cincinnati that was pretty close to finding the cure. They were doing animal testing and were making remarkable progress. I wonder what happened to them?

There is A LOT more money to be made from not having a cure for cancer than there is if there was a cure for cancer.

Ive seen it first hand with my family just how much cancer treatment costs. No way pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and doctors are willing to give that up for a simple pill or vaccine you could take to cure cancer.
