Then you have the offense, with Boldin and Jacoby Jones as possible cuts. Flacco is going to get around 20 million per, which will eat up a huge portion of the cap. I'm not saying the Ravens will go 8-8 next year, but I think the Bengals have a great shot at the division for the foreseeable future.
If Andy Dalton figures out his deep ball game then the Bengals have a chance to contend for a superbowl. Their defense has certainly been creeping up on the status of "elite." Best D-Line in football..One of the best corners in Leon.. LB is still lacking but with Burfict it looks better. They have all the offensive tools to be a great 12-4 team hell possibly 13-3, but it all starts with Dalton.

Dalton's deep ball is fine. Its not having a receiver not named AJ Green helping take the top off defenses that's the problem. His rookie year he was in the top half of the league in deep passes with Simpson lining up opposite of Green. This year...well, we seen what his deep ball looked like this year.

The key is keeping the core guys intact and fixing the interior of the O-Line. Ziegler is good; the other side makes me nervous. Also need a better running back.
