I had watched some video of him before and remember being really impressed. Today I decided to look at some more and after watching I don't know how he isn't rated higher than a 3rd round pick. He may be my favorite Running Back in this entire draft. Eddie Lacy and Giovani Bernard are both really good players but Randle may be the best overall back of the three. He catches the ball well out of the back field, he is really quick and explosive, runs with good vision, and was really production the last three years. I would rank him really close to Lacy and Bernard and if we can land him in the late 2nd round or 3rd round he may provide the best value of the group.
Here are some links to a few of his games from this past season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRY5wqDxNJE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noUyQJFPPLw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cn3xjdLGUm4

I'm still not 100% decided on Randle honestly. I don't know. I'm back and forth on him every day it seems. He straight up embarrassed Texas. I think his ceiling is a Fred Jackson. With a good blocking offensive line, he's going to be a real deadly runner. He seems to get swallowed up quite a bit, but the next play he straight bulldozes someone.

He is my favorite. Especially considering where he can be drafted at.
Would allow us freedom of picking whomever at 1 and 2 as well. But this is now and am prone to change my mind again. But think he is a good fit. Only concern being at his size can he hold up through the pounding in the AFC North.

Yes, he really can move well in the open field. A very intriguing prospect, to say the least.

Big Randle fan. I've said if he can add about 10 pounds he might be the best RB in this draft. He always falls forward when getting tackled and catches passes out of the backfield like a WR. Reminds me of Robert Smith

Re: Joseph Randle
Have to say Michael and Randle are probably my two favorite backs in this class.

I'm not going to say that Randle is the best running back in this draft. Some of the other guys are really impressive...
I will and have said that he is the hands down best running back for our offense. He reminds me of a faster Shady McCoy. That's EXACTLY what this team needs. I don't think there is anything that he doesn't do we'll. I don't see there being anyway that we can wait until the 3rd round to grab him. I also don't think it would be a reach to use one of our second round picks to grab him.

I'd be happy if we grabbed him.

Smith was a helluva player. Really like him on ESPN. Is Randle that fast?

Watch his tape and you tell me. He isn't Barner fast but he is impressive. To the point that I don't understand why so many people want to pick up Gio Bernard so badly. Compare their tape and tell me who runs through traffic better, catches better and who looks faster on the field. That's not a challenge. I'm a OKST fan so I'm sure that I'm biased. I want to know what other people think.

It's about time Bengal Nation on to Joseph Randle! I messaged over 1 month ago about Randle. BEST BACK in the draft! Explosive, good hands, always falls forward and a good blocker. 6'1" 200lbs with room to grow to about 215lbs. Better fit than Lacy or Gio. Will be our 2 round pick! Count on it! http://draftbreakdown.com/ The best website for scouting NFL Draft players! He will run under 4.5 at the combine! Todd

I love Randle.
He's got good speed, good strength, good acceleration. My only issue is his vision is average at best. I cite the run at 2:23 in the video against Texas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...wqDxNJE#t=143s He breaks a great run with his speed. But then it comes down to him, the safety and his WR blocking a CB. If he breaks behind his WR, who is pushing the CB back inside, he could have gone around both defenders for the easy score. Instead, he stays inside of his blocker and runs right into the CB and safety. I don't understand how he missed that. It may be a sign of things to come in making wrong choices in the open field and possibly at the line when picking which hole to hit. Just food for thought.

He's a middle round draft pick who will be a backup or situational player in the NFL.

He's a little more than that but aren't we looking for a 3rd down, change of pace back with an upside. He reminds me of Dee Dee Dorsey but a little bit taller and great hands. If he runs a sub 4.35 he easily a 2nd rounder.
