Default Combine Riser/Faller predictions

I know many of you like to wait until after they've seen something and say "I told you", but here is your chance to predict the big riser and faller from the upcoming combine.

Riser:
Chris Harper/ WR/ KSU- Currently carring a 4th round grade. Scouts and analyst are going to fall in love with the 6'1" 230 pound WR. He is a strong hands catcher. Will look great in the receiving drills; especially, with someone other than Colin Klien throwing to him. If the kid runs a 4.4 he will have a Stephen Hill type jump

Faller:
Kenny Vaccarro/ FS/UT- Currently the top rated safety and a projected Top 10 selection. Kenny may be the best Ball player of all the Safeties at the draft, but he is far from the most athletic. Some of the more athletic freak Safeties will make him look weak in the workouts and drills.

Would have pick Barrett Jones for Faller; however, I don't think he's working out.

So who ya got?

i don't see Vaccarro falling. I don't know if he is top 10 material as it stands, maybe 15-20, but I don't think he hurts himself. I think most expect him to be relatively unimpressive physically and a decent performance could boost his stock.

Riser: Mike Gillislee, RB, Florida.
This guy had a great Senior Bowl week. Coaches raved about his pass blocking and catching out of the backfield. Some have questioned his 40 time. If he runs 4.45-4.48, I think he pushes himself into the second round.
Faller: Gio Bernard, RB, UNC.
I think he is a great player but he does have ACL questions. His knee will get poked and proded by the doctors in Indy. This could cause some concern and could drop him maybe into second half of second round. He also is not expected to run a fast 40 time. But who knows.

Marquise Goodwin should make a good push for the 40 yard dash title if all goes well. I could see him rising to a day-two pick if he runs in the 4.2s.

Faller: Alec Ogletree, DUI and bad interviews lower his stock.

Riser: Tavarres King freakish release and blazing speed and athleticism raise his stock.

Riser--john Simon. Dude will throw up a serious amount of reps on bench.

Faller--some corner is gonna have safety hips. I'm guessing Amerson.

When I saw Amerson, I thought S was his natural position.

I like Harper to rise and I wouldn't mind seeing him in stripes. I'm not sure that Vaccarro drops very far.Maybe a round with a glut of S's being drafted in the 2-4 rounds.

Ogle may fall one round but I'm not sure he will fall to the 3rd.
King I agree on completely.wouldn't mind seeing him in stripes.

I think monte ball has been beaten up so bad by draft "gurus" that even an average performance will help him. I think many are way underselling this guy. I seriously think it may be a case where people are looking for flaws and creating things that really aren't there. I want this guy in the second if he is there.

Riser:
Khaseem Greene
I realize he is already has a high 2nd round grade, but he has safety athleticism, lineman strength and linebacker size.
He'll be a top 20 pick by April.

Faller:
Manti T'eo
We've seen it time and time again.
A player who played well in college has some off season issues that land him in "questionable territory" then he starts interviewing with teams and then absolutely plummets.
That is what Manti is gonna do at the combine.

If given the opportunity, I believe one of them will be a Bengal.

Personally, I hope it is Greene.

I disagree on Ogletree. His stock is down NOW, because of what you stated. He will KILL the workouts (no one debates this), and if he has good interviews (big if) he'll soar into the top 15 easy.

if he wasn't top 15 before the DUI, he wont be there after the combine. Everyone knows he is an athlete. It was never up for debate. Probably the top athlete at LB this year.

He just doesn't play like a LB on top of the off field stuff.

Regardless of the DUI, I don't think there's any way he gets out of the first. He's a risky pick for a few reasons, but his athleticism won't let him out the top 32 picks.

Mike Mayock? Give me a break! This is the same guy who indicated QB NEWTON would be a Bust?

He refers to most 22 yr olds as this KID! Every other word out of his crap mouth suggests these young men are KIDS?

Heres what irks me about having to take another linebacker high in this draft to begin with.If all of us look at this as how it effects our draft,it just ***** and all because of rey M not gettin it done and becoming another wasted draft pick.Rey rey is the only reason we have to pick ANOTHER LINEBACKER in this draft and to me it just sets us back in the AFCN. Heres why!! The other 3 teams in our division are going to be picking players that we have our eyes on as well.Granted we can't take them all, but it gives them one more player than us to get quality. In other words, because of rey rey not working out, we HAVE TO find his replacement, when instead we could use that pick to upgrade our lines or take the safety we want or the wide receiver that the browns will probably take or the steelers will.It just puts us behind the eight ball AGAIN because of rey rey.All the draft dudes have us taking Ogletree from bama and I for one like Minter better. They got the ravens taking Minter.I will say this, Ozzie Newsome of the ravens is a stud of a draft dude.He will take the BPA everytime.I would love to see us take a lineman first like last year. There are top lineman across the board in this years draft and most of the better ones will be gone in the first.

There are 22 players who WIN games and CHAMPIONSHIPS!! A QB can't WIN games by himself! Peyton Manning?

Look at Mike Mayock's draft record and opinions? Very poor!

He's one of the worst talent evaluators on the web! Look up his record!!

THE DOCTOR!!
