Don't you think that Doc Emrick is the best play by play caller in hockey....I can watch any game on NBC when he is calling it.....

Not really. At the time, when they moved, the team was one player or two away from a deep playoff run and everybody knew here. Marcel Aubut knew too. That's why he sold, because of a high market value. Then they acquired Patrick Roy, who was a Nemesis for every Nordiques fan. At that time I was 11 or 12. I literally stop caring about hockey and turn my attention on other sports. I came back in the 2000's as a Maple Leafs fan(with crazy eddie in the net). Because it's a while since my team has been relevant, I've got a soft sport for the Blues.

The SouthLeast Division is where it's at. I've been a Caps fan since I was 3 back in '90 and I enjoy being able to squeak into the Playoffs being a few games over .500.

The new division looks tough...Rangers, Pens, Flyers, and Devils Thank God we don't have the Bruins instead of the Blue Jackets


On last nights game. I didn't realize how many injuries the Panthers had. I didn't notice if one of their goalies was injured, but both of the goalies who played for them last night were pretty bad. And it obviously hurts not having Versteeg.

What a crazy year this has been. The caps are on fire I feel terrible for ever doubting them in the first place. Ovechkin is back! He will probably end up winning the Rocket Richard trophy, and should be considered for the Hart Memorial trophy.

Pretty amazing what he has done at the end of the season. Let's see if he can carry on in the playoffs, along with Mike Ribeiro.

First playoff from my Leafs since 2004. I was hoping for crushing the Habs, but I will settle for the little bears. Hope Lupul can stay healthy & James Reimer don't disappear. These playoffs will be interesting.

The ONLY talk all week has been that Phoenix could land here. They are talking about that like 24/7 & it's hypothetical. I hate talk like that. Wait till it happen, don't bring false hope.

Playoff hockey very intense ......

Nashville did not make the playoffs so I root for my second fav team ...

The Twins Henrik and Daniel , Ryan Kesler ....great team flying under the radar this year...

I dont think I'd say this year was great for the Canucks compared to their last few years, as a Canucks fan myself I didn't have my hopes up too much this season as they havent played with the same edge as they have in recent years and even now to fall apart the way they did in game 1 and then follow it up with that collapse in the 3rd/OT, I dont think they're winning this series being down 0-2 and having to play in a building where it took the Sharks about 22 games to lose 2 games in regulation let alone having to beat them twice in up to 3 games there. I would love to see this happen but being honest with myself I think that's just too much adversity going against them to pull off with what little they've been doing lately
