Default The New Beast

Some of you may or may not know the RB I have been pimping the hardest for the last 2-3 years. Today he displayed the beast I knew that was within:

Top 10 in 7 of 7 measurables/drills

Top 5 in 5 of 7 measurables/drills

Top 1 in 3 of 7 measurables/drills

I've always been "ok" with Michael, he jumped up on my wish list with that performance.

Don't know, maybe because the media hasn't been promoting him, like they have some of the others.

CBS lists under Weaknesses : pass protection, attitude and coachability

Do not know how true this actually is. But looks the part otherwise.

My main concern with him is his mind/attitude but that being said I really like what our staff has been able to accomplish with supposed "uncoachable" players.
Adam Jones, Burfict,Slim (god rest his soul) all players that were said to be uncoachable and these coaches were able to not only get through to them but they are able to get productivity from them.
I like him and props to bfine for pimping him all of this time.

If he can ease some of the concerns about his clash with the A&M coaching staff, I wouldn't mind taking a chance in the late second or third round. He looks the part and can be the heir apparent of BJGE when his contract is up. I love his speed and size combo. He, Knile Davis and Mike James are on my radar.

He got in the doghouse of a new coaching staff. Not saying it is still alright but things do happen when new regimes come in.

I have heard that he is a "me first" player. If true, I've had enough of those guys. I'll pass. Of course, I said the same thing about Dunlap and Burfict so I might not be the best judge.

Agree about staff being able to revert most uncoachable players into toeing the company line as well.
fine with him as well (pun intended), if coaching staff excepts this challenge. Only pointing out why he may be a bargain in draft.

This kid might just benefit from getting drafted and landing in a new city with a new team. Im sure all his frustration came from butting heads with the new staff. He wouldnt be my first choice for a RB, but if he is there in the third or fourth and we havent taken anyone, Id grab him in a heartbeat!!

Michael has the most potential of any RB in this class, IMO.

When I got around to studying the RBs, Michael is the only one that really made me say "wow".

The combine just further proves that this dude is a beast.

Michael consistantly out performed Gray at TAMU. WTS Gray averaged over 6 YPC in limited opportunities at KC.

Where does A&M have an outstanding OL. They had one guy this year and that's it.

BS! He didn't live up to that billing this year and that's why he is rated a 4th round pick. If he plays like his freshman year then he could be in the top 3 rb's in this class. I like Lattimore also and if he didn't rip his knee up would have been the top rb in this draft.
