Lol.

Well, it happens with fruit flies, maybe it also happens with humans.

No one else would have ever thought of the face mask idea if PB was never born.

If it wasn't for PB, no one would have ever came up with the idea throwing the ball downfield or of studying film.

You guys act as though PB invented the motion picture camera.
With all the "genius" you people bestow upon him, you'd think he'd at least be able to come up with a cure for cancer.

Anyone could have come up with those ideas. If he didn't, then someone else would have.
Okay, so let's just not give Nikola Tesla any credit for coming up with alternating current. And let's not give Native Americans any credit for cultivating corn from a barely edible grass. Let's not give Phoenecians any credit for inventing the alphabet.

After all, those were all just improvements of what we already had and someone surely would have come up with them eventually right?

Clearly, football is just a game, but it's a game a lot of people love and any reasonable fan who is knowledgeable about the game's history gladly gives Brown his due.

If Paul Brown founded the Steelers you'd give him his props. It's so ridiculous how rooting for a winning franchise makes so many of you Steeler fans complete jackholes. Way to go buddy.

I wonder if the reason Mike Brown is as bad as Paul Brown as good is that Mike Brown felt that he could never live up to what his Dad accomplished so he just didn't even try at all. That way, people couldn't point the finger at him and say that he tried to copy his Dad and failed.

That's probably the reason no one compares Mike Brown to Paul Brown. Most people notice that Mike Brown doesn't even care and didn't even try.

That would be like if Mario Andretti's son, Micheal, decided to open a chocolate shop instead of becoming a racer like his dad and just siphoned the money from his Dad's racing heritage to fund his chocolate shop.

I have a feeling that Mike Brown has other interests and just uses the money he gets from the Bengals to fund those activities.

He inherited being cheap from his dad. PB squeezed a quarter til the eagle screamed too, but he would not tolerate losing and if it meant spending, he'd have done it. He hated spending money, but he hated losing more. MB is a child of privilege and just does not have the competitive fire that his dad did.

I don't think it has anything to do with being competitive or not. I just don't think Mike Brown really cares about the Bengals or football in general. I think he knows that the Bengals are the main source of his income, so he does the minimum to keep the franchise going. If you looked at all of the other things he's doing, you may be surprised to find OTHER INTERESTS that have nothing to do with football or the Bengals.

The only reason, I think, that Mike Brown even meddles with the Bengals is because of the cheapness you just pointed out. He doesn't trust anyone else to be as frugal as himself. So, he sort of looks over everything and makes sure everyone does everything on the cheap.

I think that for as long as Mike Brown runs the Bengals, they'll never win even a playoff game. Once he lets go and lets his children or someone else runs the franchise, then the Bengals have a chance.

Wow... I really feel for you guys. Loyal to a team that's just being pillaged by an owner who cares little for the team or the fanbase.

Well yea, but in order to lowball the team in favor of bigger profits, a lack of competitive fire is prerequisite.

And your sig reminds me, I didn't even know you took that bet, but I have yet to see SCS rock it.

Don't be welchin' SCS.
