I'd say sign her long-term. Slippery as a snake.

Just wondering, probably not even relevant. But does anyone think maybe those boys are unsure what to do? Growing up being told not to hurt girls, and I played Pee Wee Football, I would've had a hard time knocking the snot out of her. Some of those kids seemed to be awfully "slow".
And I would have been in a tough spot, I had a cool father who drank and beat me, once for whiffing on a tackle when I was 10. So I would have found a way to lay her out. One way or another. But she sure is quick. |

Did you watch the entire video? The last minute and a half is nothing her taking and delivering shots.

No, I got bored, and had to whizz. It was just a question to mull over. I bet you the farm that at least more than one kid didn't plaster her all out. But I might be wrong, maybe everyone of those kids just totally **** that bad.

Actually I was impressed with some of the angles she took. She already gets to the outside better than Green Ellis.........

I'm personally not comfortable with this whole topic. Call me sexist, but allowing a girl to play in a boys football league is wrong. They should have leagues for girls. Or.........
We can just keep mixing genders together, athletically, "to be fair", and let boys join girls softball, and let's put LeBron in the WNBA, and so on. It's a neat thing that the little girl has the drive to play football, and is fast and tough, but I'm telling you, at some point, a male is going to intentionally ease up on her because of guilt or morals, or something, and then the game is changed. |

Well buddy, the notion of girls playing on tackle football teams isn't new. My first experience was in 1978, playing CYO pee-wee football. There was a girl on the team from Carey Oh. and she WAS the team. Not as dramatic as the little girl in the video, but she burnt us for 2 long TDs on the day.

A little of topic, one of the funniest things I have seen in awhile was watching another local freshman team that had a midget paying on the team. The very first game he was owning the opposing team finally at the start of the second quarter he walked into the opposing teams huddle grabbed the guys Jersey that was opposite him and said "are you afraid to hit me or do you just normally hit like a *****".

You guys are talking about Pee Wee Football, and 7th grade (?) Football. It's not a new topic, and there was a female kicker who was actually on the Colorado Buffaloes college team.
I'm sure their are flukes here or there, but I just disagree with the entire concept as a whole. I'm 48 years old, and have 39 medical problems. But put me on a women's softball team, and see how that goes. (I'd have to be a DH, but no need for running when I bat.) It's just not right, and it may be fair or not fair, or whatever. It might be cute, or cool, or whatever. But I am very, very seldom adamant about things, and this is one of them. There's co-ed leagues for some sports, and females have their leagues, and so do men. I played high school football, I described some of it this morning in another thread. I got the living hell pounded out of me all week in practice. I played free safety, and I'm telling you, if ANY girl from any of the high schools would have come across the middle for a pass, I'd have changed her religion the moment I heard leather hit skin. And then felt really awesome. I'm not debating this anymore, I'm beating a dead horse, no one apparently agrees, and I'm just getting ticked off. OP, cute vid. Nice find, and I'm sorry to wreck it up. She's a gifted little athlete. |

She has great vision and is not scared to run it up the middle. My favorite is where she is dragging the kid for a couple of yards.
