Im not trying to put down your idea. But even though i dont have kids of my one i have nephews and neices in elementary school. I remember school I cant imagine a prision being a healthy learning enviroment.

They're not...Maybe the ones that went through this tragedy, but the others that haven't aren't...They're kids, they are worried about what's for lunch, when they can go outside to play and whether or not Susie/Johnny will notice them in their new shirt/dress.

And just so I am clear I am not for the slaughtering of 6 and 7 year old's who are looking forward to the holiday season. Sure it's drastic, but this act of cowardliness trumps everything else.

LOL...I just dropped my daughters (6 and 7 years old) off at school. They have watched and we have spoken about it with them...They understand what happened. They skipped off looking to see their friends and aren't worried about it. You are projecting.

Now I never said there was nothing to be worried about...That's again you being obtuse. I said the kids, other than the ones that were involved or at that school, aren't worried about it.

Yep and the media giving it that much attention is why you will get a string of these in a short period of time.

Additionally If you cant live scared everyday because of a act of Terror. will you never let your kids go outside and play? visit a friends? go ride a bike?

Going to school thats guarded like a prision wont do much to make them feel better.

First and foremost we must protect the rights of people to own big guns, especially guns capable of mowing down dozens of children in seconds. That is top priority.

Second priority us to arm more people and put more guns out there, especially in schools and theaters, etc.

Last and least, we need to do something to TRY to prevent the next massacre of children by a lobe gunman. I think this is happening like every few months now.

So here is what I propose.
1. Protect the borders. Deport the aliens before they kill the children.
2. Invade Iraq.
3. Robocops in schools. Technology is our friend, especially well armed technology.
4. Every 3rd grader should learn how to fire a weapon. The best shooters should be given guns to patrol the schools.
