You got that right. People in Cincinnati hate OSU. You see it every year come draft time or when and OSU guy is a FA. The hate starts flying. All you ever hear is that the guy from OSU is all hype as if there has never been an OSU player that was worth a darn in the NFL. These boards never talk about 40 times or how the OSU guy ranks for their position it is only about how bad the player is bc he is from OSU. Hilarious and sad.

Then we see the opposite in Cleveland where the silly Browns instantly assume any Ohio State player will be automatically fantastic. This probably stems from the old days where a Columbus-to-Cleveland career path was a good thing.

Urbans a great coach and no doubt he makes young players better but he's also a great reqruiter so a lot of his talent is already future NFL talent.

that is not even close to the truth a lot of the defensive lineman in weren't exactly 3rd string.. yes they are lower on depth charts but get used in game way more than 3rd string OL. just look at us and how we use the Dline rotation NO ONE uses a Oline rotation.

you are completely missing the point... those "scrub" Dlinemen usually see actual playing time against starters and most of the Olinemen that played while he was in were cut. I'm not saying herron is gonna be an all-star or even worth giving carries to but don't count anyone out until they have been in the games.

Pretty psyched about this. I'm that one OSU homer that fought for Boom Herron. I knew he wasn't better then BJGE, Peerman, and Leonard. But I seriously thought he was better then Scott. I hope to see him get a few carries just so BJGE can have a spell every now and then. I look more for Herron to contribute on special teams.

Him better than Scott isn't saying much. But if he can't run as fast as Scott I would contend the problem is he would have to be better than the rest. Leonard slow and a third down specialist, peerman fast wrecking ball and BJGE is what he is. No room for being like the other guys. After saying all that I still want to see him perform well I'm just hoping he surprises us all.
