Boom Herron

Guy is definately doing the most he can with his snaps.

Definately alot quicker/shiftier than i thought
he has shown an ability to get to the punter with quickness and strength

You can tell he's improved since his days at O-State and I personaly would love to see him get some snaps in the steeler game.


What are your guys thoughts on him?

He should be on the active list from here on it. And he didnt look too bad running it either. Maybe 3 months on the practice squad was good for him.

put him to get some snaps late in the game, when we are comfortable with the score. Let BJGE carry the load and herron to refresh law firm

I thought he did great while the #1 Line was in there. Almost broke two long ones.

The first carry he almost got nailed in the backfield, because of Cook, and still got 5 yards.

Boom is much shifter, and quicker than BJGE.

I say give the guy some carries. He has earned them, and will do something with them.

I like Boom so far.

I didn't see him when he was at college, so I don't have much material to make up an opinion before this point, but in the last two games he has been a beast on special teams.

That blind side block looked to me as a perfectly executed block. A hard one, yes, but good block.

I'd like to see him more in the running game though. Although I also like Leonard, I think Herron will get his chances to prove himself in the last two games.

Hell of a special teams guy. He made a couple plays at RB at the end of the game too.

Blocking the punt using the other guy's body as an airbag to absorb the impact was awesome! Boom Herron showed me something on special teams tonight.

I think this confirms that the line is the big improvement for us, and that the backs are responding to the line.

We could use a burner to take it to the house when those big gaps open up. BJGE looks out of gas 10 yards past the LOS every time. Reminds me of Ced...but Ced sometimes broke it.

Well I think he's definitely earning that spot, couple of great special teams plays, and he's ran decently in the very limited carries he's had. Obviously way too short a sample size as yet, but you can only go on what he's done and he's looked good out there so far.
