With Dhani Jones in his final year and Rey moving to the middle after that, maybe the Bengals could trade up to the 17th ahead of the steelers to get Rolando McClain(if he's still there) "SLB". I'd give a 1st and a 3rd, they'd still have the comp pick. What do you think. Rivers-Maualuga-McClain

Half the bengals picks won't make the team this year. why not trade up to get him.

This is the bengals after having top ten money for 3 years in a row now, this year we will keep low picks to save money.

Don't care if you move up to grab the next Peyton Manning. Fact is, that's a lot of cap $$$$ held up from previous drafts. Look 3 years down the road when your talking renewal time..somebody will have to leave. Last edited by Asmith(DE); 04-17-2010 at 10:50 PM. |

I would only trade to get him if he was there at 17 so the steelers don't get him at 18.

I prefer Sean Weatherspoon and Sergio Kindle as prospects anyway. One or both of them could potentially be had at 21 if Cincinnati was set on a first-round linebacker.

If we're gonna trade up to get anybody, it better be Ndomakong Suh. Even Suh, however, I don't think is worth the price to this team. I don't want to see any trade ups in the first round, I would even prefer trade downs because this draft is deep enough. Then we would be able to re-sign players in the future...

not even ndamukong suh is worth trading up for. him and his past knee injuries id rather have gerald mccoy anyway. unless earl thomas or another stud has fallen in our laps, id prefer a trade down and pick up picks. besides, everyone keeps saying not all our picks are gonna make the team, its very well possible they do. if we take L blount in the 5th, best fullback available with the 6th, and say 1 of the top kickers in the 7th, i can see every last guy making the team as this draft is a really good 1.

Thank God OP's advice wasn't heeded. I like Gresham, thank you very much.

I wouldn't put him in the bust pile yet. He went to the Raiders. I'll be interested to see where he ends up next. If it's with a good team, I wouldn't be shocked if he revives his career like Reggie Nelson did here.
