Two in a row is the only start to a long winning streak.

You can't expect to come in here and call out that part of the fan base - particularly by using the very unfair label of "hater" in the thread title - then object to those who take exception to it.

There's way too much emphasis on the fans by the fans in this forum. That's not to say that the fans aren't an important part of the equation with this franchise. We are. All of us. It simply means that too many people are too concerned about how others choose to be fans of this team. We're all different people with different personalities and one common bond. If a fan wants to remain optimistic in the midst of a 4-game losing streak, then so be it. If another remains skeptical after a big win like the one we witnessed yesterday, it's understandable. Just let fans be fans.

So, all I ask is, if you truly want to revel in the outcome of this game - and it's definitely worth reveling in - then focus on the game, not other peoples' reactions to it.
I like to poke and prod at them. I have been at games were all the dude next to me did was complain about how bad we are while we were winning. I hear "fans" on this board talk trash even when we are in playoff runs. They threw garbage in Palmer's front yard and boo'd him after breaking records. Then turn around and blame MB for leaving. I aimed to instigate so I knew who to block. The extreme negative people actually have the ability to make it not fun to be a part of this fan base.

I do enjoy the wisdom imparted but attendance numbers don't lie and it is the negative part of the fan base that sadly is hurting this teams bottom line. Hell most local guys didn't get to watch the game because they're to busy sticking it to MB.

I could have gone about it in a nicer way bubt I was excited lol. So excited my neighbor got mad because I yelled after the Sims INT and I had to kindly tell her to not rain on my parade. I guess I am guilty of the same thing. I love how the internet thug, bullies, and tough. Guys came out of the woodwork though. Either way I put up serious reply numbers for what people call such a ridiculous thread.

The Giants are now 13-21 in the month under Tom Coughlin. (in November)

Yes...it's the negative fans who make it not fun to be part of the fanbase. It has nothing to do with exactly 3 winning seasons in 22+ years.

Why would anyone complain about that?

It also has nothing to do with this team being 4-5 when they should be 7-2 or 6-3.

It's the negative fans.

So you admit you were aiming to instigate?

They say that when you win, to act like you've won before...as a Bengal fan I can understand how that would confuse people...as we are now 1-4 over our past 5 games and 4-5 for the season.

Dude we are one of the youngest teams in the NFL.

Why do so many people think that a draft pick should instantly make a huge impact?
Why is it people can't let go of 20 years. It is the past leave it their.

People seem to have this over inflated view of this young team because we made the play offs last year. We were bound to have growing pains. No team as young as the Bengals are have ever gone on to win a superbowl right away it takes time and players have to grow and become better.

So in reality all the fans who complain are just stuck in the past and haven't moved to the present. The majority of gripes are just bias from their 20+ years of built up hate.

The fact is this is a young team get over it and let them grow.

Caddie, it's because of the way we do free agency. We spend the same money on three or four garbage players that we could spend on one impact player at a given position. It's the same old routine for 20+ years, and it STILL hasn't changed! Fact is, this young team could be a legitimate Conference Title Game contender if a few needs had been addressed with IMPACT players to fill those needs. We've seen this for too many years now. You know what will happen? Geno will be due for big bucks....watch and see. We've been "saving that cap money for re-signing our guys". I hope I'm, wrong, but I see us lowballing him, and him leaving. THEN, what would you say? I've seen it played one too many times. THAT'S why people can't let go fo the past, because IT IS STILL HERE! And that's why this team is constantly "young" and constantly "rebuilding. Professionals get tired of losing.....just like fans.

So, OP. Let me get this straight...your way of celebrating the best bengal win in years is to create a thread to provoke negativity because you are tired of all the negative fans? You sound like a fun guy.

bengals Re: Hi haters!

I have supported and hopefully watched the bengals now for the better part of two decades and please do not get me wrong I think they are one of the best teams in the NFL, I just cannot stand the leadership. I have no idea why marvin lewis is still the head coach. I mean 99% of the time the play calling is ridiculosly predictable, and conservative when needed to be agressive and vice versa. Not to mention after 10 years mr. lewis has an overall record below .500, which means his track record states that he is not even an average team but actually worse. I was impressed with the draft and the young strong team we have as of now but I honestly cannot imagine a playoff win or a run to the superbowl with such bad leadership. I mean look at what Andy Reid has done for The Eagles, excellent in the past but now he is in the hotseat after 2 .500 seasons, yet marvin still has his job after how many crappy years? What has marvin done for us lately? Is the question we should all be asking. It is plain to see in my eyes that mike brown is only concerned with making money not having a winning team. In my opinion if there is no playoff win this year, even if we make it which is highly doubtful after 3 divisional losses, marvin should be fired and the head coaching position should be given to Zimmer. I mean look at the impact he had on our defense, 32 in rank to two top ten finishes sounds very tempting versus run run pass punt. Thats the kind of turn around we desperately need. Again I am not griping, moaning, or anything of the sort just stating the obvious with what the statistics state. I love my Bengals and I would love nothing more than to see them as Superbowl champs, and maybe after the majority of the games are blacked out the rest of the year mike brown will wake up and make some much needed changes. I personally cannot afford the cost of going to a game and it ruins my Sunday (my only day off) when I cannot watch my team play on tv. So please if anyone important in the Bengals association is reading this... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE PLEASE!!! The worst thing in life is wasted talent. I hope I can watch the games in the upcoming weeks. WHO DEY!!!

Was at the game, wasn't as pretty as the score, Dalton and Green looked good, DL looked good, tried to give the game away going for two separate 4th and 2s instead of FGs but the Giants looked like they were just going through the motions and failed to take advantage of the poor decisions.

Any team in the NFL would have beaten the Giants yesterday

There are always excuses. The fact is going into this week we were 3-5 after playing the 6th easiest schedule in the NFL.

Instead of signing low quality free agents, maybe we'd be talking Super Bowl now instead of 6th seed..

The teams always young because veterans leave and we can only fill holes through the draft. Once they grow they'll realize they are playing in the discount rack and move onto top shelf organizations. Ask carson, corry, tko, etc etc.
