that's a great idea, take one of those LBs out of the box and open the running lanes.

Champ Bailey will lock down AJ with safety help. We have no other receivers capable of taking advantage of Porter being out. Maybe Hawk, but it seems defenses have figured out how to neutralize him. Gresh is too inconsistent. We need a competent #2 badly. I feel for Andy. No run game, no decent receiver outside of AJ Green and the HC calling you out publicly. What a mess.

I'm pretty sure he was out against the Saints, too, and it didn't seem to help them any, so....

Remember last year, when all those dudes were injured for the Bronco's and the Bengals were going to go in there and blow them out?

Theyre gonna double AJ, I dont think Champ can cover him one on one. Its time for our #2 and 3 guys to step it up.

Marvin Jones steps up big.
Hawkins makes another big play. My passing game predictions. |

Binns and Tate just can't get any seperation and have put Andy in posisiton to make the tough pass or they have to make an incredible grab. I would also like more Sanu packages and think we only touched base in the Steelers game. Still don't understand the praise for Whalen but he did do his job last game as well. I hope Gruden used these two weeks effectively and we execute in all FOUR quarters not just the first two and the last. |

But he got open against Pittsburgh, and no one else could. I think he deserves a shot to play some significant time this week. It's not like there's any other receiver pushing him for playing time. He and Sanu have gotten practically no snaps at WR all year. This year we've had 450 offensive snaps. Binns and Tate have taken up 370 of those snaps. That's criminal. If we get Sanu and Whalen in, I think we'll at least get a reliable possession receiver. No more of Tate giving up on routes or Binns failing to run routes correctly.

Id like to see Sanu and Whalen over Binns and Tate.

I think Whalen is a decent receiver don't get me wrong but he is not the "Savior to the slot position" many people were claiming. He is a WR that can come in do his job and earn his paycheck. I like that kind of receiver but it is not the kind of receiver that deserves terms like 2nd coming of Welker or the Savior. and yes it is criminal if Tate and Binns continue to get the majority of the snaps of Sanu and Whalen after the performance of the four of them after the Steelers game. |

Some people are even calling Hawkins a Welker clone, which I disagree with as well. I think our #2 WR of next year is either Jones, Sanu or not on the roster yet. Tate obviously is nothing. Binns is nothing. Like you said, Whalen earns his paycheck, but he shouldn't be considered starter material. I hope Binns and Tate don't see WR play for the rest of the year and Jones gets healthy so we can see what he can do. Other than that, Sanu would be my choice to start on Sunday, if it were up to me. If I see Tate or Binns start another game I think my head is going to explode.

I think Marvin Jones will be the number 2 next year and we may not have Binns and Tate next year. If we draft a WR I don't see both Tate and Binns being back next year unless they ship Hawkins out due to size issues. |

I agree, Sanu should be the man to get the start. In his very limited action, I have only seen good things come of him. The others have had their shot, let the rookie get his chances.
