AJ will put on a diaper if he has to and will still go for 100 and a TD.

No, and I think they always get better at the end of the season.

Just saying it's hard to keep a bug like that from spreading. I just hope Andy doesn't catch it. Worst part is we are going on a short week this week. Next week is thursday night game.
the Flu is what cost us the playoff game last year hopefully they all get it out of the way early this year.

The Steelers and Ravens aren't girly dome teams. They have indoor facilities. We are the northern-most team in the NFL without an indoor facility. It's definitely possible that practicing outside during the winter could weaken players' immune systems and cause them to get sick. Not trying to hate, just being realistic.

Agree, the Bengals certainly could make good use of indoor practice facilities.

I had it this week, too, Bfine, and nobody started a thread about me either. Damn them all!

Let me just say, seriously, that I hope AJ has a milder case than I did. But I think he'll be there, and play well either way.

he has the flu bug and it has made him weak and drained. hopefully he will be okay, but i think he will not be at 100 percent whole game as that stuff can put you down for awhile. its a nasty bug for sure and its going around in the nati.this game is going to be a tough one, i do believe.i just hope the chargers can whip the stoolers.

With the bad luck with practice injuries, this may be more of a precaution... just sayin'

Why practice inside then try and play in the snow? if we ever get snow again..

i miss snow.

always practiced football and soccer outside. and thats was for free.

Just saying these guys get alot i will not cry for them if they have to play outside.

Mike brown has already made an agreement to practice in the UC indoor facility and has estimates out for his own. Finding a place to put it might prove difficult./

Just dont blame a player getting sick on a practice facility. They have to go outside to get there and so forth and constantly getting warmer then colder etc etc etc will get you sick faster than anything.

It's the Football:

The football's like a one-man cold to AJ Green. AJ Green's the only man catchin' it, AJ Green's the only man comin' down wid it

There is a difference between getting into your car (which takes 10 seconds) and spending 2-3 hours of a strenuous practice outdoors in 20 degree temperatures with just a jersey and some padding on.

I went through Army basic training during the winter months and I stayed sick the entire time due to strenuous workouts combined with freezing temps. On top of that, it would be easier to implement a game plan without the distraction of the elements.

Hopefully they will find a place to build it. Honestly, a bubble over their current practice field would work just fine and would probably be cheaper anyway.

Maybe an indoor facility would have prevented some of the numerous practice injuries we have had. Cold, tight muscles or not focusing because of the weather might have been a fraction of the cause.

Massillon High School has an indoor facility for pete's sake...

Lol how typical is this; when the Bengals finally start playing to potential and are injury free during games in the main, of course the football gods injure and make all our good players sick during practice....

If its flu then its nothing disastrous, but I doubt he'd be at 100% for Sunday. Fortunately he doesnt need to be.

And I dont see the Chargers breaking an 0-14 record in Pittsburgh this weekend. I didnt realise their chances were as bad as they apparently are

Yea they didn't get the flu bug from practicing outside, they got it from the fans, or being out in public, or maybe sleeping to close to a crack.

Do we still have an arrangement with U of C to use their indoor practice field?
