I guess it depends on your definition but the guy doesn't play in lots of games cause of injuries.

I call that a history.

Damn good player though and i would love to have him in case he puts that history behind him.

If you consider one or two seasons where a guy misses games enough to constitute a "history" I suppose.

Leon Hall has an injury history since he missed a bunch of games last year. Kyle Cook missed half the season his year, so I guess he has an injury history.

That's just dumb. You can look at one or two isolated seasons and say that about almost any player.

4 years 15 missed games.

15 played in 2009
15 played in 2010
11 played in 2011
8 played in 2012

He may not have a history but he is trending down.

Based off what?

Sample size my friend. That's not even long enough to talk about a trend.

So you are comparing Hall and Cook on one year of missed games to Delmas's four years
of missed games and saying what i am saying is dumb? Come on man.

You were comparing Hall and Cook's injuries from last year to Delmas's whole career.

That is what you were doing, that is dumb.

Eh, stupid me. I will go somewhere else.

All for signing Delmas, just would not rely on him completely. Would still need a SS in the draft.

Yeah, because you are talking about some serious injury history of a player based on one season.

what he is saying is that Delmas has been in the league for 4 years and hasn't been healthy for a full season and has slowly gotten worse over the last two seasons.

Delmas really depends on cost. As long as it was only $2-3 million a year, we could play him at Safety with Crocker early in the year then slowly play Delmas more as the playoffs approached to keep him healthy.

Look how many games he missed, along with how many games he was listed as doubtful, questionable, and probably, and you have yourself an injury history.

When a trend repeats itself over a long period of time, it becomes a history.

Being in the league for four years at 25 doesn't mean that he can't have an injury history. The average career in the league doesn't last that long, but if you want to take out guys who never really made it, you're still talking about at least a third of most NFL careers.
