The 47 year old Shurmur went 9-23 in his 2 seasons.

They really need to stick with one coach..That has been 3 in five years, I think.

I think Shurmur should have stayed. Cant blame him for the offense not having a numbre one receiver, let alone drafting Weeden. Well, maybe he did have a say in Weeden, but give the guy a chance there. That team wasn't all that bad this year as they lost a lot of games by a small margin. They just need more playmakers.

This.

They gave Romeo Crennel 4 years and Shurmur only gets 2? I realize he may have lacked emotion/fire but he was smart.

Browns fans/ownership may be too sensitive for their own good at this point. Not that I can blame them.

What the Browns dont get is that it usually takes 3-4 Years for a Coach to Bring in his type of players and get rid of the ones that are left over that he doesnt want. And get everything rolling.

Constant changing of the men upstairs keeps setting the browns back year after year.
