External Hard Drive
Due to a recent computer crash and hard drive replacement, I'm gonna get an external hard drive to back my work up to now. I know, I should have done it much sooner, but it is what it is.
What are the best external hard drives out there? What are you folks using?

My girlfriend is a choreographer/dance teacher and she edits her own music for her dancers. She just lost her entire music library because of this. We also lost a few hundred pictures from the hard drive but thankfully they were all backed up to iCloud.

I've had external drives fail. I currently have 3 external backup hard drives consisting of 2 seagates and 1 maxtor. When considering all the digital family pictures and movies going back to 1999 plus old scanned pics and files along with personnel and work files. Overkill is a good thing for backup drives. My advice is look at techbargains.com for deals then go to amazon and read the review's.
I keep 2 hooked up to the laptop and 1 in a waterproof/fire proof safe that I back up everything once a month.
