Whitworth was blocking Barwin, who came around and knocked the ball out of Daltons hand.

This is clearly evident on the highlights on NFL.com.

Have a look for yourself.

2:53, have a look for YOURself.

You are correct in that it was Barwin, my mistake.

I see an incomplete pass though.

My mind went to recollect, and I couldn't remember any fumble, thus I just assumed that if Barwin got it, it wasn't Whitworth's fault.

I was correct.

Boling might be too tall for a centre -- taller centres can lose in the battle for leverage --that being said it is worth looking at in the offseason

TRUCK, I don't know what your smokin but the video you listed and the video I listed show the same thing, Barwin coming around Whitworth and knocking the ball out of Daltons hand.

Whether it was ruled a fumble or incomplete I don't remember.

I just remember it was reviewed by replay.

How you can say it wasn't Whits fault is baffling to me.

I think a lot of it depends on A. Smith.

If Smith re-signs, I expect we'll look to start camp with Cook in place and take another utility type or three to compete for that position or backup guard or center.

If not, we'll probably be looking at signing someone for that position in free agency and put more emphasis on drafting his replacement rather than Cook's.

The last couple drafts have been pretty down on centers, both in hindsight and foresight. I dunno if college vs pro offensive styles make that big of difference for college centers being so lackluster, or if they just take that much more time to groom now.
