Sanu made some great plays but I still don't see him over Hawk in the slot. I prefer Baby Hawk, that guy makes plays too. I'm not convinced Sanu is our future #2, but for sure give him the reps along with Jones who i think has some good potential.
Sanu stats haven't blown me away so i'm not sold on him yet.

Two things:
1. AJ Green is amazing. 2. This team plays much better when Marv is aggressive.

Dalton protected the ball and had his second turnover free game. That is huge! I think our young O-Line is coming along and that is promising. I think Sanu is starter for the rest of the year. I think he has earned his spot opposite AJ. Peerman has also earned more touches.
I am trying to not read to much into the defenses second straight dominating performance. KC's QB play is so bad I am not going to get over confident. They played great today don't get me wrong but let's awe how they handle the Raiders speed. 5-5 and very much alive! Who dey!!

I think what I took most out of this game is that we are not the only frustrated fans! Those people almost made me cry. I could feel their pain! I don't think that I have ever seen Paul Brown Stadium so somber as it was today in KC - at least from the television and at least from the get go. Also, it made me realize that we are no where near as bad as some of these other teams. We might actually have a shot at playoffs. We do have a decent QB, AJ Green, Sanu stepping up, Gresham getting more involved and actually acting like a TE. We have a defense that can be decent and so forth. We are at least getting there. No, Virginia the grass is not always greener on the other side and today I was glad I was a Bengals fan and not a Cheifs one.

I will give the devil his due in this one. Marvin manned up and gave this team the opportunity to be the type of team that he talked about a couple of weeks ago. He wanted a team that would step on an opponent's throat once they had them down, and they've donw that the past couple of weeks. He was extremely aggressive early in this one. It's like Marvin's attitude was,"These guys aren't even close to our level. I'm not letting them hang around and get confidence. I'm going to lean on them until the crumble." |

You only call it when there is a clear mismatch; both in Jax and today, there was such a mismatch.

Baby Hawks a lot faster, quicker, his YAC is pretty good too. He averages more yards than Sanu as well. But then again we only have a handful of games to compare stats. I just think its way too early to jump on the Sanu bandwagon, we did this with J. Simpson, but at least Jerome gave us a reason to get us excited, he had many multiple 100 yard games.

It just seems like Sanu has been clutch when he's been called upon. Again... like you said there's to little to go by. I just think Sanu's physicality is something this team needs right now at WR. Someone that is trustworthy to make catches in traffic. Another guy Dalton can have real confidence in, even if there is coverage or little seperation. Hawk has some great speed and explosiveness. His height deficiency limits what kind of routes he can run. Really two different players doing two different things. I think Sanu could be an every down receiver. Doing multiple kinds of plays as well. He sure beats out Tate. So when Hawk comes back BT should be the odd man out anyway. That's if Marvin and Co. allows it.

Something else i've noticed. Anybody else notice that Andy seems to be doing a better job of selling play action over the last couple or so games??
