I really don't follow boxing much anymore, but he was a great fighter. Very troubled life after boxing...domestic abuse, child abuse, burglary, and drugs...which probably cost his life.
Not really a knock out fighter, but his hands were super quick.

He's dead now. He had a good run in the sport, but not one of my favorite fighters, or people for that matter. His son, HC jr, has been boxing for awhile and was even considered a contender a few years ago. Even though he had an outstanding undefeated record, he was never a true threat for a Title run and even quit during his biggest fight to that date. Anyway, this isn't about jr. RIP Macho man!

Yeah they pulled the plug today (or maybe yesterday, not sure).

I was a huge boxing nut in the eighties into the mid nineties and he definitely was fun to watch. It's sad the way his life played out.
