Execution is definately a huge part of our struggles as of late as well no doubt.

Or after Sanus big Wildcat play we never tried it again.

Or if reverses and screens are eating them up.. WHY do we stop using things that are working?

Is he just saving all the cool stuff for the playoffs? I hope so...

How does peerman not get one carry off tackle vs pitt?

Yeah, i hope he is saving the stuff up, he definately hasn't used a lot of what has worked often.

Sanu getting hurt definately didn't help, i loved seeing him used as a RB and as a QB.

Oh yeah. I forgot all about what Zimmer said about him leaving Atlanta.

I, for one, would love to see Chip Kelly come in and bring that 'blitzkrieg' type offense he runs at Oregon. A lightning, quick-strike offense where the 'no huddle' is used on almost every down and ***** the life and energy out of the opposing defense. I know we don't necessarily have a very athletic and mobile quarterback in Dalton but the man uses his feet sometimes and seems to have decent speed when he takes off to run. Peerman would do well in this system being as he has the perfect balance of speed and power along with good hands. Of course, draft another running back like Andre Ellington from Clemson, Kenjon Barner out of Oregon, or Knile Davis/Marcus Lattimore to add to our backfield.

This was quickly thrown together so I'm sorry but what is everyone thinking?
Question is, who has the ability to be to our offense what D. LeBeau is to the Steelers defense because if we can find that kind of innovative OC then we have the ability to rule this division for some time. Does Jay, Hue or anyone else aforementioned have that ability? Or is this asking too much from this organization?

It's almost asking too much of the NFL itself. How many other LeBeau's are there in the league? Maybe one or two others (Phillips, Ryan)? How many offensive geniuses are there out there? Turner, Shanahans?

I think Gruden has done a fairly good job, especially as he hasn't been in the league for 30 years like LeBeau. Most of our issues has come from execution, not play calling and I expect it to get better as Dalton/WRs gets better. Gruden has made a lot of play calls this year where WRs were open and either Dalton missed the pass or the WRs dropped it.

To throw out an internal name that nobody has mentioned. Urban could make a nice replacement.

Yea, he could. He's done a nice job with our WRs and comes from two different WCO systems. That's my biggest concern with Jackson; the lack of continuity in the offensive system.

That being said, I think Gruden sticks around. I don't expect him to get a HC job or even necessarily want one.
