Mixed Feelings on ST

After the past 3 games I noticed we have started to slip on coverage in special teams.

We were really consistent last year and the beginning of this year.


What has changed? Who is too blame and what do we need to do to get some more consistency in this aspect?

Returns from Tate however have got more consistent and is a lot better than earlier this year. I am shocked at this and wonder if we have been working more on blocking and returning in practice and it is causing us to lose our coverage abilities.


Huber has been really surprising for me this year. He is doing a great job so far compared to last years performance. I am not worried about drafting one now.

Nuge just confuses me. He will make great kickoffs then short ones. He can drive a deep 40+ right down the middle but seems to pull it hard right when there is no real pressure. I have been watching kickers in college all year because I am not sure we keep Nuge.

Anyone else been noticing the inconsistencies as of late or is it just me?

Leading up to the game vs DEN, Marvin called out the offense, and defense......BUT he forgot to call out the special teams!!!

If only he would have lit a fire under their butts.

It doesn't matter. This team finds a way to lose.

Penalties, Interceptions, Long passes, Kickoff returns...it's always something.

Nugent is for sure. We had to franchise tag him. I think he wants out or he would have signed long-term.
