Having the AI constantly in your corner helps alot on the easy part.... While the graphics arent to the level of a Halo 4. They fit well with the movie Aliens. And this game had been in production since the ps2 was still a current gen console lol.

but its still a lot of fun and the patches have fixed most of everything.

*People ***** about how you kill the queen... but in any movie AvP or in the Aliens universe... Have we seen a queen actually killed? Not by weapons at least. (only example i can think of is Alien Resurrection... But that queen was killed by her offspring)

The Queen fight was a tad annoying because I couldn't keep her distracted for long enough to flip the switches so I said screw it and just out ran her for most of them. I think the Raven was a more difficult challenge.

Yeah Queen wasnt too bad... I didnt play the map solo so im sure her being aggro'd on you the entire time doesnt help.

I dont think the queen fight was suppose to be too hard though. just fan service to the series.. .Alien 1 Alien out an air lock... Aliens Queen out the Air Lock. Colonial Marines. Queen Shot into space.

I think the final boss should have been more challenging, I mean come on this is the Queen Alien she's a badazz. And also I'd like to say for a game that's been in development as long as this it should have been at the very least more polished.

Yes but what you have too look at is Who was developing it for what time lenghts.....

They had different people working on it here and there and with Gearbox took it over it was already a mess and they had 9 months till release date to fix it all.


The queen is challenging as you cant kill her.... other than priming that machine and launching her into space. It would have been fun if the level was longer or all the levels were longer for that matter.... I still got hope for some quality DLC.... we will see.

Anyways. Sega isnt letting GearBox develope the next Aliens game for Next Gen.

I thought it was pretty good, but Ripley wanting to be with the aliens and then making out with them at the end kinda ruined it for me. That bothered me much more than the newborn hybrid.

The queen was her baby... the ugly deformed alien her grand baby.. The cloning process merged her DNA with a little alien DNA.. she could sense them. And it also caused the problem with the queen and the new alien. Which ripley killed even though it was like killing family.

Yes, I'm aware of all of that, but that was no queen she was rubbing up on during that scene. Regardless of her feelings, that scene was weird and gross.

lol.... Yeah... Actually have been rewatching all the movies the directors versions etc..

Alien 3 Directors cut is pretty good. better than the theater version imo.. And it ties in better with the colonial marines game as far as hicks body etc.
