I stopped liking fighting games when it was just spamming attacks.

I wasn't impressed with the Mortal Kombat and DC, but people aren't realizing that this is a different developer creating this game (whereas even though Warner Bros. is producing it, doesn't mean they are developing it).

And yes, I know that Midway was bought out by NeatherRealm, but they have done FANTASTIC with the last Mortal Kombat game, so this seems like an up-and-comer for fighting games.

And honestly, I don't like fighting games that always have the same thing. Reinvent them in a way. Sure, we love fatalities, but this is DC, not Mortal Kombat.

So hopefully NeatherRealm will give us what we wanted from the original MK vs. DC. But don't forget, this isn't MK.

I, for one, am excited. Seems they are going off of something new. New idea with familiar faces. And, again, an up-and-comer in the gaming industry.

you can spam attack in any fighter going back as far as i can remember... The skilled can counter and combo though.

NetherRealm has essentially all the same guys from Midway and Ed Boon is head of the project.

NetherRealm was a studio inside of Midway.

Like BlackIsle was part of Activision for a long time.

there are actually quiet a few game companys out there that need to be purchased or they will disappear soon.

Yes, but even though it has essentially the same people, doesn't mean it's exactly going to be the same. Within any industry, there are people who have better ideas than those who were ahead of them. I'm interested to see how NetherRealm takes this, because they did a very good job with the ninth installment of Mortal Kombat, so it seems they are using the basics Midway has given them, but revamping them in their own way. Which could turn into different types of games than just Mortal Kombat. Injustice could just be the beginning.
