I really like the idea of trading back and gaining more picks. This is a depth draft in my opinion. Not a whole lot of stars, but some good to great players. We have our intact; pending we re-sign our key free agents. This mock is put together with some guys that can fill needs on our team.
Trade back and pick up 3rd and 5th round pick. 1st round: Alec Ogletree- LB-Georgia.New WLB. Flip Burfict to SLB and we are set. 2nd round: Giovanni Bernard-RB-UNC Tons of ability. More quick than fast. Could develop into every down back when Lawfirm leaves. 2nd round: Shawn Williams-SS-Georgia Stock is rising! Day one starter. 3rd round: Baccari Rambo-FS-Georgia We have nothing after Nelson. True ballhawk. 3rd round: Andre Ellington-RB-Clemson Change of pace back that is much needed. 4th round: Margus Hunt-DE-SMU Absolute freak. Nice pash rusher. 5th round: Xavier Nixon-OT-Florida Roland's replacement! 5th round: Broderick Brown-CB-OK State- Dude can fly on returns. Goodbye Tate. 5th round comp: Kevin Reddick-LB-UNC Talented LB who will fall because of motor issues. 6th round:BPS |

I love Rambo just as much as the next guy, but I fell bad making him a second string right out of the gate. I feel he could be a starter day one. With all that said, this is a great mock. ![]()

1. Matt Elam (SS) 2. Alec Ogletree (LB ) 2. Eddie Lacy (RB ) 3. Bacarri Rambo (FS ) 3. Johnathan Franklin (RB ) Then I'd probably grab a WR at some point. No huge differences. |
