1 Kenny Vaccaro S 6'0½" 218 Texas – Safety is one of our biggest needs, Vaccaro is my favorite in the class. He has been used quite a bit in coverage but also has the size to make an impact in the running game.


2a Alec Ogletree ILB 6'3" 237 Georgia – Very athletic and capable of playing multiple LB positions. Could go with Minter here as well.

2b Travis Frederick * OC 6'4" 338 Wisconsin – big mean and smart (computer engineer). Capable of getting the team the right calls, big enough to handle NTs.

3 Andre Ellington RB 5'9⅜" 195 Clemson – squirrelly, just what we need.

4 Robert Alford CB 5'11" 184 Southeastern Louisiana – The top FCS level shut down CB. We need to get young here in a hurry.

5 Xavier Nixon OT 6'5" 314 Florida – injury plagued career with a huge upside. Immediate upgrade to Roland, long term starter.

6a Michael Williams TE 6'6" 270 Alabama – a TE that will not need any coaching from Hayes to learn how to block. Sign me up.

6b Marcus Davis WR 6'3⅛" 229 Virginia Tech – you cannot coach size and speed. This guy is a unique blend of both. With a little motivation, this guy is a steal.

I like it all but Davis and Nixon. Davis is haviung problems this week at one of the senior games which is going to drop him more than likely. Nixon can never stay healthy,so I'd sub him out for another OT.

Robert Alford is climbing up boards, he is now graded in the 2/3 range.

This is by far the best draft I have seen so far without any major reaches. Ogletree could certainly fall that far and if he does I'd be thrilled with the pick. I would like someone to replace Tate so maybe instead of Williams you take Aaron Mallette out of Elon or a speedy guy but over all this is an excellent draft

LOL, I hate Tate, as the 6th receiver, he would not dress. You might be able to replace him with an UDFA.

MLJ and Ellington should probably take over as KR in this scenario.

I don't want to see a 53 man roster with Dontay Moch or Brandon Tate on it. Moch has stressed-induced migraines. He is a fail, unfortunately. Tate is a fail, obviously.

In the 4th, I have seen folks mocking Sean Porter Texas A&M or Kenjon Barner.

I know it is probably heresy, but I would like Maualuga for depth at MIKE & SAM. I would be much, much more comfortable with this LB corp.

As for the vacated 4th round CB, I would be okay with this CB corp in 2013:
CB1: Hall
CB2: Dre Kirk/Newman
Slot: Pacman/Ghee or Prater or Lewis-Harris

Alt 4th rounder: Kenjon Barner. Drop Herron and roll with BJGE/Ellington/Barner/Peerman as a RB corp.

Safety is a bit lean with just 4 (Nelson/Iloka, Vaccaro/Mays). I would like to see a veteran safety added to the mix for depth. Because if Nelson or Vaccaro were injured, the Bengals would be back to horrid safety play.

In 2014, I want DE/CB in the first 2 rounds.

I left FA alone still. I do not like Tate. Moch was a bad pick, all sizzle no meat. I think Ghee finally makes an impact.

6 CBs and 4 Ss is they way most teams roll now. If you can get some vets, a lot of our younger guys still qualify for the PS.

I am a huge Barner fan.

But, if there isn't a 4th round CB, then I don't like the 6 CBs (Hall, Kirk/Newman, Pacman/Ghee, Lewis-Harris).

I'd rather have 5 CBs, 5 Ss, & 9 dlinemen (Dunlap/Geathers, Atkins/Still, Peko/Thompson/Sims, MJ/Gilberry).

26 defense - 9 dline, 7 LBs, 5 CBs, 5 Ss.
25 offense - 9 oline, 6 WRs, 3 TEs, 2 QBs, 5 RBs.

I want to cut a body from the RB corp, but I can't let Peerman go because of his STs contributions. And I can't let Pressley go, because we still need a FB. BJGE/Ellington/Barner/Peerman/Pressley.

Obviously, these aren't easy choices.
