It could be because he's over 240 LBS, making people view him as more of a fullback.

If we could get Bell in the 3rd, then take a back like franklin or barner in the 4th; I think that would work out for us quite favorably.

I guess I am in the minority that actually like Bell. He is a big guy but has very nimble feet. Reminds me alot of Michael Bush as ET said earlier.

Bell's beginning career is going to be made or broke at the combine. He needs to run around a 4.5 and he will shoot up boards.

Doc, your right Bell's NFL career will be determined at combine. Bell is a nice back and I like him better than Lattimore. I think Bell even lost some weight in hopes of having a "faster" combine.

I haven't decided if Bell will "make it" in the NFL. He runs really tall with short leg strides. He also doesn't use his legs for his power which if not fixed will kill him in the NFL.

Great speed...bro he does not have great speed nor initial burst, his knock is whether or not he can speed it up for the nfl. have him drop fifteen lbs, id love to see bell at 225. Lacy Runs away from Bernard and bernard runs away from bell. Lacy will run in the 4.4's at the combine and gio will run in the low 4.5's and if bell is lucky he'll crack the high 4.5's. I heard bell has been cutting weight tho soo that could be good. i love bell but only if he drops weight.

How many 220lb RBs have run a 4.4? If he runs that fast hes a top10 pick.
Bernard wil run a mid 4.5 at best since one of his knocks is not being able to out run defenders.

dude ive said it for the last month in a half, u can argue it all you want but lacy at the combine will run atleast a 4.49. and if that makes him a top 10 pick so be it. but thats u saying that not me. all im saying is he's gonna run in the 4.4s.

You have been saying this for awhile now. If it does happen, definite props to you, but there are no times being reported of him running in the 4.4s. Pretty bold to state something without having proof to back it up. If he doesn't run as fast as you predict at either the combine or pro day, will you admit you're wrong?

With that said, running a sub 4.5 should definitely boost him into the first. Even if he doesn't, I think someone in the late first may take him anyway. Dude is good.
