Bottom line is this. If you point to your name on the back of your jersey after a big play, it's about you. And he does this often.
I may be wrong, which I doubt but listening to his post game interview last night it sounded as though he said (paraphrasing)" I did what I could do, everything else is out of my hands"...........
They struggle next season, he'll be a headache.
Based on what we've seen so far; there's a world of difference between Chad and AJ... an absolute world of difference.

I dont think anyone could possibly say with certainty AJ would be a diva if we're losing. How could you possibly know? We'll see if it comes to that, but based on his career so far, he's done nothing but be a big player for the team. He's kept quiet about it. He must know he's one of the best players in the game, but you dont ever hear him come out and brag about it.

All I see is a top player being a bit disappointed that his team's lost a playoff game. I'd expect our guys to not be happy about it. When he comes out saying 'trade me' ill buy into him being a me-first guy.

You have got to be kidding me.

Dalton played this year with #2 WRs who would be #4s on most teams...and a TE that can't catch.

Gresham had 64 receptions this season. that ranked him 7th among TE's. So much for your can't catch theory.

And Rey M had plenty of tackles this year yet its widely accepted he ***** as a MLB. Basic stats like catches and tackles don't tell the whole story.

Quote:
Of all the middle linebackers we’ve graded this year none has come out as poorly as Rey Maualuga (-3.4). He walked away from the regular season with the lowest grade of all inside linebackers, chiefly because of his problems in coverage.

So, with this being the playoffs he had a chance to show the world that we were wrong about him. Instead, he simply reinforced what we’ve been saying all year. In coverage he gave up three first downs on five balls thrown into his coverage, with a drop also saving him once, while he also missed a tackle on another. In the run game he made a nice play with 4:36 to go in the first quarter, beating James Casey to his inside for a tackle for a short gain, but outside of that did very little. We all saw how Wade Smith handled him on the touchdown run, but on the play before that it was Ben Jones who simply diverted him away. Indicative of the problems he continues to have at the second level.

Not only is this 7,000 word paragraph unreadable, the few things that can be read, make no sense. Wow!

Some of these threads are getting quite ridiculous. We all knew there would be a fire storm of "blow the team up" threads or "fire him and him" threads, but this thread takes the cake as the most ridiculous!

The man has a point,,,if this continues i guarantee when AJs contract is up he will most certainly entertain offers from contending teams and HE WILL get many of them because of his caliber and age. Not too mention but they will also pay him more. I can see this happening if something doesnt change.

Here's another one for ya: My left ball is actually .45 mm smaller in circumference than my right ball. Wild stuff!

Unbelievable how stupid some of you are.

The last 3rd down play the Texans had yesterday, Maualuga did NOTHING.

I counted 27 times yesterday he took either the wrong angle/gap, missed a tackle, or failed to cover a receiver, filled too late to the gap.

27 times midway through the 3rd quarter!!!

Owen Daniels had 9 catches. He's a tight end. Tight ends primarily catch balls at/near linebacker level. Maualuga was supposed to man cover him on several of those catches.

How many yards did Foster seemingly get through the A GAP (just to the left and right of center) where it looked like he should have been tackled for no gain?!?!?

DO WE SEE A PATTERN HERE?!?!?!?!

Dalton could have played better but give me a MLB (Iike Burfict) who actually knows how to play the position and the outcome may have been a bit different (score wise).

MAUALUGA is the problem here... NOT DALTON

(statistically, Dalton has improved from last year. Rey seems to keep regressing)

I've got as many problems with the Bengals as the next guy, but does this mean that every talented player on the 20 teams that didn't make the playoffs wants to leave too? How about the twenty plus teams that haven't made it two years in a row? The Steelers were one and done last year and not even there this year. I'm guessing all thir new players are ready to bail.

One of the more childish threads I've read in recent memory. Give your head a shake, and go follow another team if you seriously believe yourself.

Threads like these with zero basis are very disturbing.
