Seahawks vs. 49ers is certainly not a weak game. Not even close.

Default Big Game

The Bengals have been thrown under the bus numerous times for not winning the so called "big game". There is validity to some of these claims. But other times the game was not really as big as was claimed and seemingly the gun was jumped just to throw salt.

But this is a chance for this young Bengals squad to break that chain by going into Pittsburgh and punching them straight in the face and claiming the prize of the Wildcard Playoff spot.

Will keep alive the chance at winning the AFC North with win as well.

This could become a "Changing of the Guard" event for the Bengals if this opportunity is seized.

This is truly a Big game in my book and an opportunity to make a statement for the future of the Bengals too.

I am gassed for this weekend. Could not be scripted better as to clinch in Pittsburgh at the steelers expense.

Who Dey !

Default The Big Game.

Every time the Bengals have had a big game such as the one this sunday, they have lost during Marvin's tenure. This game in my opinion will show quite a bit about this young talented team. This is basically a playoff game because the Steelers have Cleveland at home the following week. I know the Bengals are the underdog but considering what San Diego did to them a few weeks back I think we are capable of winning.

If Dalton comes to play I think we pull out the upset. He is the key to victory. Right now all cylinders are pumping except our passing game. I am confident this defense will show up and Zimmer will gameplan accordingly. Our running attack has been awfully good the past 5 weeks. If we can muster 250+ yards through the air and no INTs we got a great chance. This is it fellas.......the season has come down to this game against our arch nemesis. WHO DEY !

Key is the running game. Undefeated when bjge gets over 100 yards.

KEYS TO GAME:

1) Establish effective running game early.
2) Protect Andy Dalton.
3) Protect the ball.

That's it. Trite as all that may sound, if they do those 3 things effectively I think they win the game. The defense will keep them in it, but those they have to do those things all day long to win.

Agreed and I would like to add that they absolutely cannot have momentum killing penalties. The game is at Pitt and I've already been thinking about how the officiating will be awful and the last thing the team needs is to shoot themselves in the foot. I say this because I think Pitt will get away with a lot of holding and I think the Bengals will have some flags thrown against them that shouldn't be in the first place.

4) Keep composure and avoid penalties.

That's one of my bigger concerns, really. This team tends to get worked up in pivotal games, resulting in penalties galore. That will kill us.

You forgot, catch the ball, both sides of the line.

The key here is Dalton and picks. Trust me he'll throw at least one, just hopefully not while in the Red Zone. He appears to resemble Mark Sanchez with the way he's been regressing. Double clutching and not trusting his reads for one. He needs to trust his number 2 recievers and not force balls to AJ. Hey what's up with not feeding BJGE the guy a beast?

Completely wrong.

Dalton is NOT regressing No QB will look good with 14 dropped balls in the last 2 games. If you want to point at people point at Marvin Jones and Jermaine Gresham. They need to CATCH THE BALL, not fumble and commit no stupid penalties. Also Jones has to actually run the route the play calls for and finish it (he cost us a TD in Philly by pulling up for no reason).

This season is looking no different, as they have been thumped by the Ravens and Steelers, and and blew a huge opportunity at home today. They way they lost today with sloppy play and mental mistakes was particularly disheartening.

The 4th Quarter play calling today was suspect too, implicating the coaches as well as the players.

Andy seems prone to some stupid mistakes in big games too.

I'm hoping they learn from these mistakes, and are building towards something special.
They dont suc* has good as you do UTTS!

I do not care how many times they have been nationally televised. I care about what I get to see period. Understand it this time? I am as well not going to spend my time researching it got it?

Now to your theory.....so if Manning played only on Thursday nights you are stating he would have zero losses correct?
Looks like Ross Tucker on Sirius XM finds this fact worth talking about! He said up until that win in Philly the Bengals hadn't won a prime time game in 10 attempts. Even against weaker opponents. You thought my mentioning this little trivia fact was ridiculous. I pleasantly feel vindicated.

I wish I could watch this game man. This may be the most important game ML has ever been in besides playoff games. But it saddens me to know that he has never won ANY big games like this....Like NEVER. Like in 10 years a our HC has not won ONE do or die game. Thats scary imo. I mean EVENTUALLYwe have ti win right? No better time to start believing than now if you ask me

Wasn't the Bengals versus Gaints blowout win nationally televised?

Yes it is frustrating! I can always tell when the game is getting away from Marvin. He'll do that little bend over and put his hands on his knee's and starts repositioning his head mic. Even when we're ahead that's when I say to myself. O no he's about to self destruct and true to form he does. Let's hope Sunday we don't see him go through his routine.

You seriously ask that when our MOST RECENT GAME--a win--was nationally televised???

It was INTERNATIONALLY televised! NFLNetwork goes around the world!!!

Geez...

You can't be "vindicated" when you've been embarrassed. Any question intended to demonstrate an unusual length of time that is countered by incontrovertible proof that that length of time is in fact THE SHORTEST AMOUNT OF TIME POSSIBLE is a question that has been VAPORIZED.

Your question is like asking "when's the last time Cincy even played a game?" Because they both have the same answer.

But go on feeling "vindicated," while those of us with dictionaries and facts smirk at your folly.

Dude, you my friend live in a parallel universe. Nationally televised ( prime time) means turning on ANY TV in THIS country and watching them play. Not going to a multi TV sports bar. Why is this so tough to comprehend?

Every game up to this point has been a big game to get them to where they are. They are fine, we can go into pitt in beat them, heck KC should have won in Pitt if it wasn't for the refs. I think they go in their and play a pretty good game, win or lose.
