Maybe maybe not... the score never tells the whole story.

Week 1

Ravens playing emotional healthy football after the loss of their owner

Bengals playing with a secondary that missed all the preseason and none of which were 100% MLB less than100% didnt play all the preseason Stud DE Dunlap hurt.. And rotating SS's.

We got stronger as the year progressed and the players starting getting to 100% we were a different team in decemeber than september. and probly could have hung in their with the ravens in a defensive battle. Now the opposite effect happened on the offense.

You should ask "what if Peyton Manning came here" instead of Denver.

We'd be in the superbowl.
This, I can agree with, and I was praying Mike would bring him here, not only would have our season turned out different, but the super boy Andy Dalton could have learned from the best, how to play the position.

What if Shaun Rogers came here instead of going to Cleveland that one year? That could have given us Atkins and Rogers in the playoffs....

Ravens No Buccs NO first 2 pats No based on the fact their defenses were better than their offense Bledsoe led them to their first SB . Pats were Trailing steelers in AFC campionship . Only 3- 5 offenses better. Defense still wins championships

I honestly think that there was something more to that "last second decision" because if you remember there was a lot of Bengals to draft Taylor Mays talk and right after the Whitner switcheroo San Fran trades us Taylor Mays for a undisclosed draft pick. Does anyone here remember what round pick we gave them?

Our 7th round pick for this draft.

We got Taylor the year before Whitner was a free agent so there is no conspiracy there.

Whitner signed with San Francisco on August 4th, 2011. We traded for Taylor August 22nd, 2011.

Sure, but 7 out of the last 11 winners also had top 10 offenses, and only 2 had offenses outside of the top 15(02 Buccs and 08 Steelers).

The entire team needs to be great now. It's not the 70s anymore.

Bengal Dude is correct. So what i'm saying is seeing that it happened so close in time along with us giving just a 7th rounder for 2 season after that it just seems like they could have just done a little deal. I don't care what people say about Taylor's play a 7th rounder two year later is a sweet deal for a guy with his size and speed that was drafted only a season earlier. It could all be a coincidence though, I'm just giving some food for thought.

We were 12th in offensive points per game. While we may not get the most yards, our offense does produce points. For comparisons sake, San Francisco was ranked 11th with .4 ppg more than us. Baltimore was 10th with .5 ppg more than us.

The Ravens went after Whitner. It was their game plan.
