We don't need to upgrade BJGE at this time, we just need a good COP back with good hands and those are available later in the draft.. Someone like Kerwynn Williams or Kenjon Barner or even Zac Stacy. I know some are high on Dennis Johnson but i'm just not a big fan on taking guys who've already had ACL surgeries and missed seasons in the past( I know some come back fine and some don't).We're in the situation where I would rather draft someone who has no injury history and who can play now. As far as Taylor goes i'm just not a fan of his and he is too similar to what we have now in BJGE(not much speed). If I was going to draft a bigger back I'd go with Eddie Lacy and I'd even bring in Latavius Murray UCF 6'3 223 4.5 speed if I was looking for bigger backs.

I do like Montgomery, seems like he is already built for the pro's. What's your thoughts on Dion Jordan? 1-Jordan 2-Lacy 2-Valccro 3-T/G |

I like Jordan but I think someone will fall in love with him and draft him in the mid 1st.Not sure we need a T/G in the 3rd unless Andre is not coming back then I'd probably draft OT in the 1st or 2nd.

I wouldn't mind drafting Barrett Jones in the 2nd. I'm leaning towards a
1st. Ogletree 2nd. Bernard 2nd. Jones 3rd. Rambo 4th Hunt |

Alexander's bone on bone knee will scare most teams off from a long-term deal. He could never play extended periods in St Louis, and has had at least 3 surgeries on it, maybe 4. He's only played half a season in SD. Danario is talented for sure, but his knee, by all accounts, isn't a whole lot better than Antonio Bryant's was.
With the 1st 4 picks, the Bengals need some combination of DE, S, LB, and OL. Maybe substitute WR for OL. RB's are not stacked at the top this year. A compliment to BJGE can be found starting in the 4th. JMO

I'm ready to see Thompson in action. I think he's going to be a pretty good player. mainly a run stopper.

with the talent we have i'm not sure he's getting on the field anytime soon. They've been playing Still more than him.

I would be mad if we got a center for our 2nd round pick. I want RB first safety second.

I don't think it would hurt us deactivating the invisible Terminator and suiting up Still or Thompson. Charles can play FB in a pinch and Peko could be used as a battering ram at the goal line if necessary. |

Isn't Vincent Jackson 6'5? I really hope we dont take Austin though, small guy who would have to play inside, Id much rather put Sanu inside and get a bigger guy for the #2 (Woods, Williams,Hunter, Patterson types, Also like Cobi Hamilton in 3).

I have no idea why Quinton Patton isn't getting any love on the boards. Johnathon Banks said he was the most complete WR he faced this year. Coming from a 1st Rd CB who plays in the SEC against the best says alot to me. Dude had 21 catches and 4 TD's against Texas A&M this year. Last edited by pulses; 12-24-2012 at 06:41 PM. |

Personal preference I suppose many of us have seen more of the guys I listed over Quinton Patton and Louisiana Tech, from the little I have seen he has looked pretty good, I plan to be watching more of his games later into the off season.

I do not understand why the predominant opinion's is to take a WR. Please.....I think we did just fine with what we drafted last year. If we draft a WR with any of the first 5 picks (unless one one drops for some reason) I would scream. The need to upgrade the running game, even with the way todays game is trending, is more important, be it a stud rb or a lineman.
