Drafttek mock 11/3/12

Talk about one very odd draft. They have us taking Damontre Moore, DE and passing on Jarvis Jones. I have not researched them completely to know their criteria but that seems hard to believe.

Jones would make us set at SAM. He would be better to take than Moore. From what Draftek thinks, they see Moore initially being put into our DL rotation then eventually becoming our future SAM. I don't like projects earlier than round 5, and I agree that Jones is better BPA and fills a bigger need.

They have us finishing ahead of Cleveland. I guess we ought to be glad that we're still better than the Browns, but I'll be surprised if we draft that late.

And I don't want a DE that high. C.J. Mosely is my new Kuechly.

I could see him making a drop like Da'quan Bowers if he has some serious health problems. However, to predict that at this point is downright hilarious.

Jones > Moore. However, Moore's 11 1/2 sacks and 19 TFL is better than Jones.

I think they try their best to find knowledgeable fans from every team and let them make the picks. I like them because they always offer some alternate outcomes. And the draft never goes how people thought it would.

Ha I felt a little silly taking him at 5 in my last mock but this is just ridiculous, btw I would probably throw my TV out the window if we pass on Jarvis Jones.

If we pick any where from 10-20 and hes available we would be stupid to pass on him.

I realize that we can never have too many pass rushers, but why would we take a DE when we have MJ, Dunlap, and a handful of other early needs?

Inconsistent pressure. Its feast or famine with us. We need someone who can provide consistent pressure from the DE position and provide insurance in case MJ leaves or Dunlap gets injured again.
