Hey check this out:

Per Reedy
"Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict said that Mike Zimmer can still be a bit intimidating at times but now that he's actually pretty nice to him now.
That wasn't the case though back in May when Burfict came here for rookie minicamp.
Said Burfict on Thursday: "When I first came in here I was kind of scared of the guy, I was like, man, he looks so mean and I told my mom, I'm scared of our defensive coordinator. I'm scared to mess up at practice. She's like, it's going to get better. So, as days go by I just realize he's a great defensive coordinator he just wants you to do what he's coaching. You do what he's coaching he'll kind of lean up off you. Like, OK, that is doing what I'm coaching I don't have to yell at him as much now. But for me, I think players play better when they are scared of the defensive coordinator because they don't want to mess up as much. That kind of goes with me, I don't want to mess up my job. I read my keys and stuff because I know later on I will have to hear Zimmer's mouth." about 2 hours ago"

What do you know? A player who admitted he got better because his coach motivated him! Would you loom at that! Man, I am glad we actually had a coach who did his job and motivated.

Steelers are without both of their starting 2 tackles in their game as well as their starting 2 CBs. They lost arguably their best WR for a significant amount of weeks as well as their #1 RB. Would we have been able to do what the Steelers have done?

yes we started the season pretty much with out a starting guard, then our starting center went down.. also lost our best LB, have had CB's out of lineup especially early.. took Hall a few games to get back to full speed.. then we lost our 2nd RB and 2nd WR and look where we are

I'm guessing no news is good news. Would've heard something by now if it was serious. Usually someone would be saying that he'd be re-evaluated tomorrow, so I'm guessing he was just limited as precaution. Maybe he kicked the side of the bed when he wook up today.

He has sat out practice before, as i recall people freaked out the last time too. Probably just precautionary, would be a huge loss in the run game.

Are you kidding? There are all kinds of smoke and mirrors going on right now. The most onctete thing to go off of are the injury lists. We will know more tomorrow but this could be bad news.

Is it the same injury? Same foot even?

Little knowledge and a lot of speculation at this point. I'm betting Andre will be ready to roll come Sunday.
Well lets just cut out this speculation and start stating the facts shall we.

This foot injury could very well be the same foot he injured before.
Andre Smith missing this game could mean we lose out and miss the playoffs.
Us missing the playoffs means Mike Brown could fire Marvin Lewis.
A new head coach could mean we become a dynasty and win the next 10 Superbowls.
Etc., Etc., Etc.,

I do believe one of the last foot injuries was from another 300+ pound guy stepping on his foot.

Possibly same kind of scenario.... maybe just bruised even and taking a rest.

Steelers are more healthy than when we faced them last time; Bengals less.

That doesn't sit well, especially when heading into Heinz

and the those worried can stop.

'After surfacing on Thursday's injury report, right tackle Andre Smith (foot) was on the field for Friday morning's practice on the Paul Brown Stadium field. Smith had foot issues during his first two seasons in the league yet he appeared well enough to prep for Sunday's game (1 p.m.-Cincinnati's Channel 12) in Pittsburgh.'

Well.........just imagine how much better Burfict would be playing and now much more Zimmer could have motivated him had this all taken place inside a practice bubble. A bubble where there is no flu!

Do we still have a deal to use the University of Cincinnati's indoor practice facility if needed?

Glad to hear Andre is back in practice. Now I'm hoping Vontaze is healthy by Sunday. I'm sure he'll play whether or not he's 100%, but I'd like to believe he won't have that distraction.

Andre Smith didn't play last week. He was manhandled the whole game.

Some answers are pretty obvious there are those that are just constantly negative in regard to this team.
