What's good with our practice facility? Seems like more injuries there than in games

Yep. They install their game plans outside in snow, rain and 20 degree temperatures. Either that, or they take a 2 hr round trip bus ride to a soccer complex in Mason, losing time they could be spending on game planning etc. I wonder if that's why December has traditionally been one of our worst months?

I hope he can play, but we have orson charle who I think can step up for one game and make a impact. The schemes will be a little different so the game planning might take a hit. Still have confidence we can pull this one out.

No he's not thin. Dude is a beast. Repped 225 at the combine 35+ time. He ran the second fast TE 40. He a freakish athlete and would have been a first round draft pick. But just to clarify I believe he is 6-3 240.

For me if Gresham cant go, I give baby Hawk the chance to start outside and see what he can do with it as more than a slot receiver/specialty receiver. marrvin Jones looked raw and was also on the injury report being ill. I have little faith in Tate or Binns. If we must line Charles up at TE, we almost want to have BGJE and Brian Leonard in the backfield at the same time using leonard as an H-back although he's a little small-frankly Charles is ideal if Gresham could go.

Frankly I put Leonard in motion to draaw a safety away from Baby Hawks side, and have him run a shake and go route and have Andy chuck it as far as he can and use baby hawks 4.34 speed-the one big proviso to Dalton if you miss, miss long-do not make Hawkins try to win any jump balls. If the safety rotates over the top go somewhere else with the ball...like ...uhm that Green fellow....LOL. If they leave Hawkins 1 v 1 chuck him the ball. This will open the short stuff for the entire game!

Ian

Man. If Gresh really can't go, Andy's top options look like this:

AJ Green (certainly doubled, perhaps tripled)
Hawk (glorified gadget player)
Jones (rookie who looks unready)
Charles (rookie with 5 career receptions)

Not good at all. Especially with D Ware likely breathing down his neck.

I actually thought Ware would be lined up on Whit. Is he not? Love Whit, but he hasn't been consistently dominant against good rushers this season.

Well, this is not good. I think we just lost the edge in this game. I might eat crow for this, but I don't know we get out of Sunday with a W.

Holy moly stop calling Hawkins a gadget player.

Just because he's small doesn't make him a gadget player. He gets open and has great hands.

If all you want your number 2 to do is run deep Marvin Jones is the better option over Hawkins. Jones specialty is beating guys deep and he can play the ball in the air. Jones will be fine it is just a bit of trial by fire he will get it together.
