How much would you pay for a next gen console when they come out?

I have a Wii and an XBOX Kinect. Along with a crapload of Jillian Michaels fitness and other various Zumba type "games". The only game that is mine is a WW2 aerial game-Battlefield Angels (or Aces-I don't get to play it, actually). There are also the CSI and NCIS games as well as a Kung Fu Panda game.

The $300-$400 I've spent so the wifey can work out hasn't been worth it. She never uses the stuff. Nor do my kids-they prefer the games on their iPods.

When I first got my Xbox people were hating on me so much. "Xbox is terrible! PS3 has internet and blu ray player!"


I have a blu ray player..have had one FOREVER and I have a computer for the internet..


Xbox now has the internet explorer.




Their rebuttle was

"It's free to play online!"


Cool. I will glady spend 30 bucks a year (THey have it on sale every year now) for 12 months + 1 free month to have a better online service. Xbox Live is by far hands down better. If someone gets caught cheating they ban that account + the xbox..where as PS3 they (Used I dunno if they still do) Just Ban that PSN Gamer tag and you can just make a new one.

Also I can be playing Dead Space 3 and Xeno be playing AVP and we can be in the same party talking about whatever..PS3 you (Again used dunno if it still is this way) have to be playing the same game.


Overall when it comes to systems it's all about what you prefer. Xbox has some really good exclusives as does PS3. The only thing you can really compare is the online service in which I give Xbox the nod.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have an allegiance to either system. They're similar enough to each other that I use the one with the controller I'm comfortable with. I just thought it was funny / ironic to go out of his way to praise the xbox and put down ps3 users and then have the audacity to call others fanbois.
