Yeah pretty well actually and can breathe pretty easily with not much pain. 3-4 more days in hospital then 6-8 weeks taking it easy at home for the most part.

My father had 5 bypass open heart surgery in 1980 following 2 heart attacks. The VA did the surgery and my father fully recovered. He lived for 16 years after the surgery and would have lived much, much longer had he followed the doctors advice on excercise and diet. Best wishes to your family and Hope your dad recovers soon and healthy.
