This guy said it, it must be true.

30%,40%,50% whatever, still quite embarrassing for the home team.

I guarantee a quarter of the Dallas fans there didn't travel from Texas though.

The team is young with talent and was on a four game winning streak and playoff hunt, just thought it would be full.

Been a fan for 23 years and finally filled a lifelong dream of going to a game. I don't live there and don't pay taxes there so I don't understand as well as a local. I do appreciate all of the friendly people we encountered and had a great time.
I can help you out with why the Club seats have so many empty seats in them. The club seats do not count towards the game selling out. All ticket sales are divided 32 ways betwwen the owners except for the club seats and Suit's. The teams get to keep all those sales. The reason all those seats are empty is they arent sold. I've been a Club seat holder for 4 years and have never seen the club sections full. With the economy the way it is it's hard for people to be able to afford those seats. Maybe this will help you understand why there were so many empty seats even though it was a sell out.

My season tickets are in Section 308. The next section over, 307, is usually filled with with Pittsburgh or Cleveland fans. Yesterday, it was full of Dallas fans. We had no problems with any if them. The biggest jerk was a drunk Bengal fan who would stand in the aisle and make Dallas fans walk around him while taunting them.

The seats in the 200 level, with the exception of the last few sections at each end, are Club seats. They're much more expensive than everywhere else. I remember reading something a few years ago that said those seats don't count towards a sellout because of huge cost. That's why a lot of them are empty for every game.

I suspect that if this team makes the playoffs season ticket sales will go up and you will see more Bengal fans in the stands.
As far as the 200 level seats, those are the club level seats. Only the true fans come out of the club area to watch the game outside with the fans, while most of the wifes/children are inside watching the game on a huge TV on the wall and eating free food. In my opinion the club section was poorly thought up and they should have a window from the club area to see the field.
For your information the food in the club is NOT FREE. The TV's aren't that huge. We pay for the good veiw of the field, and not having to deal with drunk's on a weekly basis. My Kid's always sit with me and watch the game. Get your fact's straight before ya go spouting off about things you don't know.

Nope, definetly not free. Bought comparable tickets to the Blue Jackets a couple years ago and they had a smaller lounge, but the grub was free, so it was disapointing (though not the least bit surprising) to learn that Mike "Monty" Burns doesn't roll that way. Food is nicer, more of a selection, but prices are insane. Every TV is either a big box from 1994 or an HDTV that curiously shows a standard def 4x3 picture stretched to wide perspective. And, there's like a 5 second delay, so the crowd will tell you what happens some time before the TV actually shows it. The furniture dates back to 2000 and looks like the teenagers serving detention there are carving on it. There are obnoxious drunks too, like the idiot behind me that kept running his mouth at the Cowboy fans (until the end when he mysteriosuly learned some manners). Sometimes you'll see an Anthony Munoz or similar Bengal legend or semi-celebrity hanging about, so that's cool.

Maybe after the Bengals win 4-5 Superbowls then another franchise can say "Those Bengal fans invaded our stadium today".
So did I and when the Bengals were winning I wasn't saying how I was going to F all the DAL women and spitting on DAL fans, no one was. I guess some of use have higher standards for how people should treat each other. Is that what you do pay for a ticket and be an A-S-S to everyone cause you bought a ticket?

We are all fans, whatever the team. It's a game, none of us play in it like I said makes you lose some faith in people.

Since they have won so many SB's then act like you been there before, all they did was beat the lonley Bengals.

This is where I was at Row 17, Most of the fans around were fine the DAL next to me kept *****ing about the refs. It was when we were walking out and waiting for the ferry.

For what it's worth... I heard a Dallas fan call into NFL Network saying how friendly Bengals fans are, and how he had a great experience at PBS.

No way Dallas fans are that bad anyway. Here are my top 5 worst of the worst, starting with...

1. Raiders fans
2. Eagles fans
3. Steelers fans
4. Ravens fans
5. Jets fans

This was my experience as well. I was blown away by how many Dallas fans there were. Maybe it's because it's just more recent in my head, but I think there was a significantly higher percentage of Cowboys fans than I've ever seen at a game, including the Steelers. They were everywhere. (I sit in the poor people section, so I imagine I witnessed the highest levels of infiltration. Lower sections probably had much fewer Cowboy fans.)

Most of the ones I was around were rude and obnoxious. It also seemed that the Bengals fans were like that moreso than usual as well. I think the unusually warm temperatures allowed for a lot more pregame lubrication. Football aside, that was one of my least favorite experiences I've had at the stadium.
