Just Got Asked To Present In Chicago

Just received an email from a school in Chicago because I'm a legend and my name travels like the plague

I told the lady that I'd happily present to her school but she's also working on getting me at other schools up there so I can present to other schools. (It's also a five hour drive, so it would just be more practical if I had other schools so I could make a trip out of it.)

This, plus that one down in Southern Kentucky, would make for great career opportuntiies and hopefully they'll kick-start my career while I'm still relatively young.

My daughter did. She liked it, but I think the crash part of it scared her from taking the driving test-she didn't take the written test until this past November. She's 17 now and has just enrolled for the driving portion.

I know that isn't the main part of your message, but she sometimes focuses on the wrong thing.

Actually, however it best hits kids is the main message, so I'm glad it worked. Sorry that it scared her from getting her license right away, but it may have been a good thing.

I hope that I can have a lasting effect on her so she always stays safe.

Tell her that as long as she doesn't drink and drive, text and drive, and is just careful, there's nothing to worry about and she'll be fine.

How did you figure out that I had presented to her school? Did she come home one day say "there was this awesome dude in a wheelchair that can't talk that came in today," and then you put two-and-two together?
