Who knows, he does not get any playing time. He would have been killed with our O-line last year.

I wanted Kaepernick at the time. Too early to tell who will be better.

Andy REALLY needs to work on his:

Pocket Presence

Read Progression

Accuracy

Other than that he has been great.

Give a 2nd rounder for Ryan Mallet..& if that's not good enough give them Gresham too, because he will be off our team within the next 2 years or less.

Imagine this arm in our offense throwing an accurate deep ball to Green.
you think the pats have a spot for gresham

McNabb went 2nd overall to the Eagles. Then we picked Akili, so McNabb wasn't an option. MB may have wanted McNabb before the draft (I'm not sure), but I thought Akili was the guy Brown wanted. He obviously wanted him enough to turn down the Saints entire draft, even with McNabb off the board.

Edit: This from wikipedia-

Brown turned down then-Saints coach Mike Ditka's offer of nine draft picks for one in the 1999 NFL draft[57] against then-coach Coslet's advice. Coslet wanted as many draft picks as possible to help the Bengals' defense.[58] Instead, Brown overruled Coslet and selected University of Oregon quarterback Akili Smith.[59] Smith only played 22 games in his NFL career. Coslet later regretted that he "didn't insist hard enough" in trying to persuade Brown to accept the Saints' offer.[58]

Lol yeah but I thought Mike Brown was a moron ? Hence mallett would be a failure ...... Sigh

Everyone is do ready to throw out the baby with the bath water. Lets see what happens when Andy has more weapons. Jones is not a 1-2-3 WR. And hawk is nice but not a starter.

The #1 question in my mind ..... Is Sanu a #2 or was he just a flash in the pan?

If he was a flash then we need to address that position. If not then always look for depth.

Then we can properly grade Andy, after all he has 19-15 record 2 playoffs. When was the last time we had a QB do that in first 2 years?

Yes he picked a QB and did not take the trade.

Brown is known for his personal attraction to the QB position.

I'm still pretty sure at the time McNabb was the one he really wanted.

At any rate he still is a doofus for not taking that deal.

So you are right sir. He did choose a QB instead of the better deal.

Dalton is mobile. Just not elusive under pressure in traffic. Especially when the pocket is a sieve.

If you watch when Dalton plans to run... he can effectively.

There have been times this year and last he has done this.

In fact if our beloved OC would pull his head out every once in a while he'd use it to exploit the D.

Here's some watching material if you think Dalton is not mobile.

Geesh.....Bengals fans are so fickle. First you all are behind Dalton, and now after a 10-6 season and playoff birth (Which was impossible based on projections by analysts at the beginning of the year.) you all want to turn your back on him after two years?? Give me a break. You want to be upset at the performance of the game...fine....but to say he isn't a good QB is just ridiculous. At first I was fed up by the team's performance yesterday, but the more I come on the board, I realize that our fanbase is downright deplorable. Be a fan....if not....go support another franchise.

Really...comparing Dalton to Mallet....if you think the grass is greener, go play in someone else's yard.

He doesn't seem to have the whole "professional demeanor" thing down very well. Granted, he's a very talented thrower, but so was Ryan Leaf...
So was Joe Namath who also fits that description.
