Good teams do not depend on the draft to compete.
Good teams more often than not get some type of production from rookies.

Agree or disagree, rookies are more likely to make an impact the higher they are drafted?

None of those were on draft day.....at alll...ever.....which is what we were talking about, thus your point is not on target with the discussion at hand, which was draft day trades up or down.

Well the most recent trade we made was on draft day. Is that not a pattern being broke? It was definitely out of the norm. And it just so happened we had an extra early pick to play with. Kinda like we do this year.

And we supposedly don't trade players either. Or make trades at all. Which are things I have heard around here.

We explore opportunities. The deal just usually has to be as even as it gets or a straight win for us or we don't make a deal.

Going up to get a guy who they think is a surefire pick in the first and still getting an extra 3rd in return. For the cost of 2 picks. Could be viewed as a win.
