This guy has been on the Bengals bandwagon all year and I LOVE IT!! Even during the 4 game losing streak he was still a believer unlike most of the media. 1 game at a time.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/pe...re-projections AFC 1. y- Houston Texans (South champion) 2. y- Denver Broncos (West champion) 3. y- New England Patriots (East champion) 4. Cincinnati Bengals (North champion) 5. Indianapolis Colts (wild card No. 1) 6. x- Baltimore Ravens (wild card No. 2) We have two weeks left to go. Notice where the Bengals are in this playoff look. They are in the fourth spot, which means I think they win the AFC North. That means beating the Steelers and Ravens in consecutive weeks. It won't be easy, but the Bengals are playing better than those two. ![]() |

He may be the only one that gives us any love nationally.
Thats ok though I dont mind the underdog role.

It would be cool to win the division...but getting the 6th Seed may actually make for an easier 1st Round game... |

do you really think that? Hypothetically, if we just use Prisco's playoff ranking and switch the Bengals back down to 6. We would play the Patriots. Anyways....Just 6 more wins!!! Starting with Pittsburgh

4th seed would be best. Getting the colts home. 6th seed we would go to foxboro.

Yeah, Prisco has been fairly consistent and vocal with his support for this team. It's nice to see. As for winning the North, it's very possible:
Sure we have to win out and that WON'T be easy, however, the Ravens get a desperate Giants team and then come to Cincy for the finale'. It's conceivable they lose out. |

No...I expect Baltimore to be the 4th Seed at the end of the year. Baltimore is in a free fall.

Re: Pete Prisco still on the wagon
Patriots offense is scary when they are on and they usually are. I would definitely rather face Indy, especially at home, even though Luck is a really good QB and seems to play like a veteran.
I have faith we can beat Pitt and Balt both...I think the big question is can the giants bounce back next week and beat Balt. Eli usually plays well on the road, although not in Cincy a few weeks ago. I'm surprised the falcons blew them out. |

A Home game would be nice though. The Colts are fairly hot. It would be nice to beat the Ravens. |

Re: Pete Prisco still on the wagon
A nice late Christmas gift I ask for this year is one playoff win....if we get that one, then we can get greedy.

hell no get the 4th seed. so we get 1 home game. 6th seed could play the patriots or broncos and neither game would be good on the road in january.

The Giants are playing pretty bad too. I'd say that game is a pick-em.

I'm just musing about the fact that our 1st Round Game might be tougher than being the 6th Seed. Might. It's variable from here. |

Re: Pete Prisco still on the wagon
Thanks for the stats....I didn't realize Lucks stats were that bad. He has been pretty impressive and clutch in some games though... But no question, bring on Indy.

Re: Pete Prisco still on the wagon
Yeah, they're good numbers for a rookie, but certainly not the amazing play people are making it out to be. Their team has found ways to win tight games, much like we did last year. That helps add to the perception and kinda gloss off the somewhat average numbers.

Well when we have 1 guy in the media that believes in the Bengals...we have 4 that are not believers. So we're still basically the underdog. Hopefully the players will have a ton of attitude during this game but still keep it level headed...
