#2 - If Houston beats the Colts, then New England can "decide" who to play between Indy and Cinci. If New England beats Miami... then their road to the Superbowl is Cinci, Denver, winner of Houston v. Balt/Indy. If New England loses to Miami... then their road to the Superbowl is Indy, Houston, winner of Denver v. Balt/Cinci. My guess is that Brady and the boys would rather face Indy, then Houston en route to the AFC Championship. So, again, in my opinion, we will face either Houston (which is most likely since the Colts will be fired up with Pagano coming back) or Baltimore (because New England has the luxury of hand picking their first round opponent. Who dey. PS: No chance KC tries against Denver and risks the #1 pick in the draft.

Years ago, teams played Monday night football the last weekend and they complained if they were scheduled to play the next weekend during the playoffs, which is why you don't have teams play Monday night the last weekend anymore.

In short, the Week 17 schedule has absolutely zero to do with the playoff schedule. |

Let me rephrase it. They won't have a team playing a road game Sunday night and then playing a road game Saturday. Seattle was home on week 17 and then again played at home the following weekend in the playoffs.

I almost corrected you, but you're right.

Hopefully the game is on Sunday. I work Saturday evenings, and I don't really want to have to pay someone to work for me.

![]() ![]() This is what the writer wrote... "Last year, the six seed Detroit Lions played at the third seed New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. The year prior it was the 4 vs. 5 seed game in the NFC. I believe it likely will be the 3 vs. 6 seed for the second straight year." So this is his opinion and even he doesn't think it will be a rotation. http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2012/1...yoffs/#slide_2

Whether Saturday or Sunday, don't expect the 6 seeded small market Bengals to get the night game. Even during the playoffs, they strategically plan it so that the big market teams play at night time. The NFL is one big racket in case you haven't already figured it out.

It doesn't help that this slideshow loses credibility in the very first sentence when they say that the Texans have locked up home field advantage.
