The defense has played better without Reggie Nelson.

I wonder why?

Nelson wasnt the problem nelson was playing good before hes missed last 2 weeks. 2nd best on defense imo.

Agree.

I'm not saying he was a problem.

I find it weird/shocking that the defense has played so well without him thats all.

I said it too a friend on Sunday that it seems that somethng has "clicked" with Newman. I think in general the Secondary has stepped up.

Kirkpatrick looked a little rusty when he was playing but he is a rookie. Hall is recovery still and it is apparent and Nelson has been weak this whole season. Hopefully he comes back with some passion.

I have always liked Jones since he came to the Bengals and I am glad that he is starting to play well and get the respect he deserves. I think he has a lot of talent left in him to be tapped. He has been injured or suspended the majority of his career. I think that we would be sorry to let him go ever, he has a few pro bowl seasons in him.

He is playing much better than the 1st 1/2 of the season and much better than i think any of us thought he would....

Is his surge do to being 100% or DL stepping up.

Remember alot of these guys were hurt to start the year almost all CB's and Rey M Dunlap etc.

I would not mind going on a run now. this is when the SB winners start their runs.
